Listening to the police scanner to get any sort of confirmation of the reports coming out of Ferguson about a cop being shot.

Ive had it with these people too, they are not even people as far as Im concerned, they are vermin..they want to be treated like garbage that is how they should be treated..there are good black people in this world who look at these vultures and think that they are being lumped in with these fools. I agree. I don’t know why they would continue to subject themselves to this when their own government doesn’t back them. The paycheck’s not worth it, especially when they could lose the pay and more, like their homes through lawsuits and their freedom through being railroaded.

Yes, the scanner just said that the shooting was of an officer headed home from duty. The shots came from a black charger with three black males. The wounded officer returned fire and the charger likely has bullet holes.
About a mile southwest of Ferguson. Off duty was county PD.
Just curious. Is any Freeper in the area on an actual scanner with the locals programed in? Or are these internet feeds of the PD radio comms? IOW actual comms? or a hack?

The link is to a feed of the actual scanners. The “price” to listen to it is to periodically have a short “commercial”. Those interruptions are short and relatively far between.
So this is as good as you get unless you’re local using your own scanner.

The broadcastify scanner is an existing feed from prior to the Brown incident, but doesn’t have the riot channels on it.

Canvassing for shell casings on westbound highway 70 at hanley. That’s the site where they tried to shut the highway down two weeks ago.
This is getting crazier by the minute.
I’ve been fortunate not to live around many and so it’s not been a matter of avoidance....but it surely is now and will remain so...just not worth even bothering as this ‘show’ will keep re-playing time and again.
I simply don’t like their culture and behavior, mannerisms etc. The few I’ve known in the workplace, who I’ve never had issues with or they me, “became” much more outspoken and devisive over this Ferguson thing and the one before this when “their people” rose up to protest. I heard a lot of things I didn’t like which changed how I saw them.
