The Rev. Al Sharpton said his civil rights organization, the National Action Network, is "engaged in immediate conversations" with the White House as they work to name a successor to Attorney General Eric Holder, who is set to announce his resignation Thursday afternoon.

"We are engaged in immediate conversations with the White House on deliberations over a successor whom we hope will continue in the general direction of Attorney General Holder," Sharpton said in a statement.

Sharpton praised Holder, the first African-American attorney general, as the "best" one in history when it comes to civil rights.

Nothing epitomizes the moral bankruptcy of the Obama admin than the fact that Sharpton is an advisor to Obama.

Yep! And it gives the RATS the opportunity to try to make the Pubbies look like knuckledraggers just before the election.

A desperate attempt by Obola...but, it could sway some wavering “moderates”. Hmmm...

I agree. This from the same guy who can look into the faces of the families of the benghazi dead and lie to them about the cause of the assault and what he will do about it. one of the most despicable acts I can recall.

Sure Big Al is saying this and will take credit if Obama nominates another angry Black racist as AG. However, Al should consider that Obama must also pander to other race groups and might just nominate a Latino lesbian who is also an illegal alien.

“I believe him. He and Obama are very close. I wouldn’t be surprised if Al himself is the nominee, in fact.”

Yep. Obama had to mention Ferguson in his UN address. Maybe Holder wasn't radical enough, even with participating in an armed takeover in his college days. Al could easily be nominated by Obama. Obama wants to rub our face in his radical politics.

We can only hope Tawana Brawley does not surface w/ a law degree from some fly-by-night diploma mill.
