Must have been the strangest feeling! I felt a tiny one once in Germany and it was very odd.

I’ll bet there will be. 7 reports that there are tsunami warnings all along the West Coast now. [our gal reporter at the job!]

A fellow guitar playing buddy of mine was in Juneau for the BIG Good Friday Quake back in the 60’s.

The SF Quake of 1989 that interrupted the World Series was on my Birthday.

It was Huge and Series, it was.

Prayers for those affected. Hope you are OK. I have never felt an earthquake that I am aware of, so have no idea what they are like.

They’re all different. This is the biggest I’ve felt up here, and it lasted about a minute. Everything rattled and shock and you could hear lots of noises. We gave serious thought to getting out of the building as it went on and on. I’m more used to rollers, or one sharp, large thump.

We’ve in CA several times and never felt one. Our daughter lived there [west LA] for six months without feeling one. Closest thing I could think is a low level sonic boom. Went trough a lot of those in the 60s.
