Why wait till 75?
Babies are quite unproductive, except of full diapers. People who are asleep are capable of nothing— just lying around without conscious thought.
Why should old people be singled out for death because they are starting to be less optimal? Why not snuff anybody who dozes off while reading FR posts?
Thank God that so many of us have a better conception than Mr. Emmanuel does of what makes human life precious. Now we owe it to God to speak His truth louder and more powerfully than Mr. Emmanuel speaks his.
My mother in law lived to be nearly 95, and those last 20 years were some of the best years ever. Yeah. I’m talking about my mother in law, but she was a real gem.
If Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel wants to cut his own throat at 75, who am I to stop him? Me, personally? I prefer to live out however many years the Lord grants me.
I don’t believe in taking extraordinary measures to stay alive a few more months, but if I did and it was my own money, who has the right to tell me different? No one but God.

I’m not challenging you I’m agreeing with and want to elaborate on what you have posted.
Have you ever watched any YT videos on Zeke? Do you know of or are aware of his family background? I’m sure you have seen videos of him speaking and are aware of his background and for him to make this statement of dying at 75 is totally predictable.
He not only is a self-hating jew and a declared homosexual but he lost his faith in God a long time ago. How does one find out WHY this man is a self-hating homosexual jew?
Even from whatever religious training he received (bar mitzvah) and more than likely a chaotic home life as a child he somehow has always hated himself. This is what I get from reading about him so this is no big surprise.
When pragmatic socialism creeps in to substitute faith in God and the joy of living ‘til one’s days are over it is sickening to think the major architect of obamacare now makes a personal statement.
He has no right to make this personal statement as a public persona given his position at Penn and his “global initiave” etc. etc., etc. and also being the major designer of affordable health care to the masses. It shouldn’t be made public. I believe he has breached the public trust if he is making this statement and he should be held accountable. You & I know he won’t be held accountable

You see, he has lost the most critical aspect of his soul and equates his life to nothing more than homeless dog to be put down from a kill shelter when his stay is declard over by the lord & masters running the shelter.

I have dealt with a doctor with the same mindset in Houston, and he has 7 years to go by this “rule”. Be interesting to see what he does when his time comes. Oops, silly me, I forgot! He’s one of the enlightened elite, therefore he would be exempt!
