US to send 3,000 troops to Ebola danger zone as Obama administration shuffles mission in Africa

The United States government is sending thousands of military troops to the west African nation of Liberia as part of the Obama administration's Ebola virus-response strategy, the White House said late Monday night.

....'A general from U.S. Army Africa, the Army component of U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), will lead this effort, which will involve an estimated 3,000 U.S. forces.'

Most of our military members have been trained in NBC survival. (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical).

With their biological warfare gear and training in proper decontamination techniques, they are the best people to send into such a situation.

However, sending them is insane.

Zero is putting them into a no-win situation, as mentioned above, and nothing good can come from this for our troops and our country.

Perhaps someone will come home with ebola and shakes the hands of zero, reid, and Pelosi just before the democrat convention.

That may sound a little hard, but remember, the rats still wish for the death of Bush, and would relish such an event happening to repubs.

Some high ranking military have to summon all their courage and refuse these orders. I think they have a legal leg to stand on here. There has to be a case that allows the military to refuse.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

Obama is sending these troops over there to simply impress the backward people of those countries of his greatness. It is to try to get some type of “worldly” recognition from anyone...especially a black country.

Who knows? Kenya or some other prehistoric nation over there might even make him king out of devotion to his efforts to kill American solders in a useless battle to fight bugs.

I think Congress should step in and put an end to this immediately by kicking him out of office immediately.

There is absolutely no question that returning personnel from that area will infect a large portion of Americans.

This is one of the dumbest moves I can think of. We should be shutting down Africa.
