Pope Francis said on Saturday the spate of conflicts around the globe today were effectively a "piecemeal" Third World War, condemning the arms trade and "plotters of terrorism" sowing death and destruction.
"Humanity needs to weep and this is the time to weep," Francis said in the homily of a Mass during a visit to Italy's largest war memorial, a large, Fascist-era monument where more than 100,000 soldiers who died in World War One are buried.
The pope began his brief visit to northern Italy by first praying in a nearby, separate cemetery for some 15,000 soldiers from five nations of the Austro-Hungarian empire which were on the losing side of the Great War that broke out 100 years ago.

Tell him this has been going on since about 650 ad when Mohammed declared war on the world.
Plotter of terrorism is Obama. He side with terrorists in Egypt, Syria and Lybia
Pope-e Man would know. . . . .
The poor Pope. His heart is definitely in the right place, but he’s so drenched in stale Latin American leftism that the people he blamed for the new “WWW III” are the - ta da! - “arms merchants.”
He went on and on about how new technology was making all of this possible, never mentioning, of course, the fact that one group alone is behind all of the major conflicts worldwide and that most of the time they have no higher technology than a knife for cutting off people’s heads.
Actual quote from “The Audacity of Hope” [pg. 261]: Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.
Yup.
Immigrants shouldn’t unpack if they plan on going to a foreign country to give aid and comfort to the enemies of America. They shouldn’t be allowed back in and never be issued a US passport. I think that should apply to natural born US citizens, too.
World War IV; World War III was the horrific Cold War.
