The committee members requested HHS tell them by Sept. 26, why the administrations warnings have become more dire, the problems to date with containment, the protocols to respond to Ebola in the U.S., how federal funding have been spend to combat Ebola, the current risk the diseases posses to the U.S., assessments of hospitals to respond to an outbreak, as well as the status of medicine.

And it is also only a coincidence that we are the only country flying infected Ebola patients home/s
Most likely. They have to be trained to take them off properly and they are not.
Obama to Visit Atlanta Health Center to Talk Ebola
WASHINGTON Sep 12, 2014, 2:07 PM ET
By JOSH LEDERMAN Associated Press

President Barack Obama will travel next week to Atlanta to address the Ebola crisis during a visit to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the White House said Friday.
ISIS and Ebola are for Obama, in the famous words of CP3O, “beyond my capacity”
I think it is made up news.
<>><><><><><><><><
Hilarious and sad.
It’s not happening to you and you don’t know anything about it, therefore it is made up news.
The symptoms and progression of ebola are available to anyone with the motivation to research and learn. That apparently does not include you.
Enjoy your bubble.
This is ridiculous. I suppose IQs, no matter the ideological label, suddenly dropped in DC (without regard to the ‘law degrees’ & morals/ethics discussed in a prior thread).
Think about it: CDC is demonstrating incompetence on a massive scale with LABORATORY samples and this government thinks it’s a wise idea to bring infected individuals to the HEART of the country, rather than some hospital ship parked safely offshore where medical personnel can be positively screened & quarantined to guarantee there is no mistaken ‘release’.
So WHY isn’t any lawmaker asking the $MILLION question: Why are we bringing the infected HOME when our own CDC can’t control a lab sample?
My question:
Who do they blame it on when the 1st Ebola case is reported here after being first squelched & denied?
Nay. We’re presented with news for consumption, to control the populace and gradually prepare us for an outbreak with stupid questions as in the title.
I’m not buying it...
Major crisis in USA= martial law=President does not leave office.
Yet, here we sit on a bright Sunday Morning, trying to educate morons that have not bothered to spend a few hours of their lives to educate themselves on what is fast becoming a world devastating disease.
For those in denial or wishing for information, I have a proposal. First go to the following link. It was started in March, devoted to the Ebola outbreak.
http://www.singtomeohmuse.com/viewtopic.php?t=5725&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
Don't skip ahead..read it from page one just as you would read a mystery novel. You will see the failure of WHO, the failure of Politicians, but most of all, you will see the failure of ordinary humans. It is very easy to say “We are a civilized culture”. “It would never happen here.”
We are human. We would have “Runners”.
There would be no need to declare Martial Law. By the time it was needed, it would be to late.
Finally, after you read it. Go down to your nearest large Hospital and spend a few hours sitting in their ER. In fact, better yet, finish reading while sitting in the ER. When you get to page 135, take out a small bottle of Tabasco, or other hot sauce to your liking and spread a few drops across your fingertips.
Within 15 minutes, your eves, or nose will be on fire. Welcome to Ebola!
Of course, this is America. Your chances of survival may be much higher than 50/50. GOOG LUCK!
Which state or area would they allow this virus to run rampant?
Maybe the same state that they are trying to teach a lesson to by allowing a flood of illegals to penetrate and then turn into a Dem stronghold?? Texas??
by Sept. 26,
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
They were my thoughts exactly when I read that.
GOOG LUCK, sorry, should of been GOOD LUCK. Humans make mistakes.
” Im not too worried about the US, except for a few bigger cities with large illegal alien populations.”
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I would add those cities with large numbers of homosexuals and IV drug users.
Gee... so simple and elegant of a solution. Amazing your idea isn’t being discussed.
Yeah, thats sarcasm.
The game of Ebola Roulette continues...
*click* spin *click* spin *click* spin
Eeeee-bolllll-aaaaaa ping!
Bring Out Your Dead
Were gonna need
a bigger cart!
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
...blowing up one's suicide vest is a crowded TSA line...
From orbit?
It’s the only way to be sure...
I would say this would be a major concern. One of the symptoms is copious amounts of diarrhea and vomiting...most of which will be deposited in toilets and aerosoled out.
Well, it looks like Africa has a problem.
Thank God it's not our problem... our country's broke and we can't afford to play 'BIG MAN - CITIZEN OF THE WORLD'.... Let's hope Frieden doesn't have delusions of grandeur...

Destroying the Ebola habitat won’t stop the problem. The virus is not the issue. The fall of man is the issue. Watch for other disease outbreaks.
