This week, Switzerland's attorney general completed a legal opinion on the question of whether Snowden could be granted political asylum if he traveled to Switzerland to testify about the National Security Agency's surveillance activities in the Swiss homeland. The AG's office concluded that Snowden would be given asylum as long as prior obligations made by higher-level Swiss officials did not take priority.

What would you do if you were in Snowden's shoes, and saw the full extent of he US's Spying???

The people violating our Constitutional rights belong in jail.
Snowden deserves a Medal of Freedom.

He did the right thing, and is paying a steep price for it. I would hope on of our “allies” that learned we were spying on them through him would offer him asylum.
He was demonized for letting the cat out of the bag while Otoken was in office; if he did it to Bush he would be a hero of the left.

Louis Lerner, James Clapper, John Koskinen, Eric Holder—all of these individuals committed perjury. Where do they belong? Just a question. And the feckless fool on the hill has been lying for six years. Where does that individual belong?

What would you do if you were in Snowden's shoes, and saw the full extent of he US's Spying??? I'm so glad I wasn't presented this moral dilemma. I know for me, I'd probably err on the side of my written promise and vow. I probably couldn't have revealed a thing.
However, and in disgust, I would have quit the job, and probably quit the United States.

Snowden belongs in a Supermax cell along with Trofimoff, Ames, Hansen and other traitors. His disclosure of domestic espionage was a cover for his traitorous handing over of information to foreign interests. Too bad the Rosenbergs were the last spies (stateside) to be executed for espionage.

Honestly?? I would have put out the lights and gone home. Im a coward,I guess.Nah. That's not cowardice, that's personal integrity. To have access to the knowledge of this spying, you would have signed certain vows of silence and other documents like that.
I guess I would draw the line at relocation and/or injury and murder.

Yes, giving or enemies information that might get our people killed (or has done so) is the “right thing.”
Not in my book.

Snowden deserves a Medal of Freedom. His *motivations* deserve a Medal of Freedom.
His *actions* deserve prosecution.
... and this is probably why people are so torn about this issue. It's an awfully fine line.

Pretty much. If it was just a matter of whistleblowing, I'd give him a medal. The US Government is a nest of lying dirtbags, and Snowden is a lying dirtbag also. I hope they both lose.
It says something when the feds are more enraged at the whistleblowing than the overt spying he did. Even the most naive should know who the enemy is now.

Snowden deserves The Congressional Medal of Honor.
