7 On Your Side was contacted by several upset parents who say Woodruff High School students were made to take down American flags from their vehicles on 9/11.
Spartanburg District 4 Superintendent Rallie Liston said four students arrived at the school Thursday morning with U.S. flags propped up on poles in their pickup truck beds.
The school's principal, Aaron Fulmer, confiscated the flags because he said it is against district policy to “draw attention,” to one's vehicle.
The flags were returned to the students at the end of the day.

Folks, those of you who will feel the need to remind me what education the man has, please realize that common sense is needed to utilize what you have learned.
Carter may have had learning smarts, but he had zero common sense smarts.

Because you leave the entire system to the Lefists, for them to corrupt every kid truly “Left Behind”.
We should not simply abandon townships, counties, regions, states, or schools to the Left.
One good example is our University system in the United States. They’re for the most part run by 90% Demcorats/Marxsist/Leftists. That hasn’t served us well.
We need to rethink these things, and demand equality in professors and teachers up and down the system.
When there is equality, we’ll see more sound teachers and materials across the board.
Secondarily, why should we have to pay taxes for these schools, then thousands of dollars to put our kids in private schools?
We need to reclaim what is ours.

I think we should start a national movement to fly our flags upside down. Millions of upside down flags just might draw some attention.
They should take down the American Flag that flys over the school too—Fly the UN Flag only as “Citizens of the World”. Teachers Commie Union—are the culprets—Who is objecting to the Flag? Islamic students, Mexican illegals? When does this become the Tyranny of the minority?
I'm surprised that Aaron Fulmer doesn't have broken fingers (or face) after his unauthorized partial disassembly and removal of components of private vehicles.
Why not? You have to nip it in the bud, or they'll grow up thinking they can hang flags in their front yards, say grace in the courthouse cafeteria, and wear crosses on their football helmets. Nip it in the bud!
Seems like a violation of first amendment rights.
i disagree... it never should have happened to begin with... government, even local government, running education--bleh... it will never happen the way you propose... and it would take more than a year... conservatives leaving in droves is more likely to cause any change at all...
I appreciate the response, but if you (were a Democrat and ) could single out a way to make your political opposition both pay for schools, then pay literally thousand of dollars on top of that out of your own pocket, would you be tempted to rectify the situation?
I’m not talking about the federal government being involved. I’m talking about local communities running their schools again.
Not every kid’s family can afford private schools, so I’m not sure how you would simply do away with community schooling.

You know, I’ve come to the conclusion that “school superintendents” are the highest paid “migrant workers” in the country. They move from school district to school district, pedaling their liberal BS and creating test score scams so that they and their cohorts can get bonuses on top of their exorbitant salaries then somehow get “outed” and their contracts are “bought out,” and they move on to the next “mark” with a pocket full of cash. Just look at that crooked old Black woman down in the Atlanta area and how many people she had “helping” her cheat so they could all get more money (as I recall something like 40 “educators” have been indicted). It’s the VA all over again. Now she’s gotten her case postponed because she has cancer. I hope she dies for what she’s done to the kids who were counting on her to give them a quality education.
