There’s a reason that the current hyper-cynical, often nihilistic “Family Guy generation” responds so well to the pro-life message when we arrive at their high schools: When we tell them they’ve been lied to, they already know that. They’re just not sure how.

Excellent point!

The face of The Sexual revolution was that hurley chick, followed by Steinam (sp).

This girl is too young to have known or met either of those two.

The sexual revolution was part of a communist led political revolution. NOW admitted it at their founding. The Weather Underground have since come out about that too.

Free Love meant no refusal, someone wants sex from you, you submit. Free love wasn’t free.

“Smash monogamy”, “Smash the patriarchy”, “Smash the State”.

What else is in it for Planned Parenthood to be pushing the homosexual agenda? It certainly isn’t about family planning.

While searching for the Ayers (9-11-2001) article from the new york times, I ran across this excerpt (in pdf) from apparently a longer text. This chapter covers the ties between sex revolt and political revolt and carried the chapter title “Smash Monogamy”.

It’s about 22 pages and includes footnotes to sourced quotes.

This just can’t end well for our country. Sexual violence in the west, sexual violence from the east. No escape, apparently.

When Biblical Christians warned that the sexual revolution would bring about the destruction of the family which God designed, they were ridiculed by the ‘60s free thinkers.

Look at the nation now. What a disaster the Millennial generation and their parents have made of “freedom” turned to license.

“Be not deceived. God is not mocked.”

All good points. However, it has well been said:

Any idiot can make fish soup out of an aquarium, but it’s a little more difficult to make an aquarium out of fish soup.

IOW, creating a living and thriving society out of the wreckage of the previous one is a great deal more difficult than just maintaining what you had.

Russia is perhaps the best modern example of this principle, but US and Europe are gettting there.

When has anyone heard a feminist mention true STEM women scientists like Marie Curie.

No, all they care about is that perv Sanger and her school dunce cohorts of whores like Steinmen and “what women want” Katrinas

Yes, I think the kids do instinctively know that they’ve been lied to.

I see it's time yet again for one of my favorite bits of Kipling:

The Gods of the Copybook Headings

by Rudyard Kipling

AS I PASS through my incarnations in every age and race,
I make my proper prostrations to the Gods of the Market Place.
Peering through reverent fingers I watch them flourish and fall,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings, I notice, outlast them all.

We were living in trees when they met us. They showed us each in turn
That Water would certainly wet us, as Fire would certainly burn:
But we found them lacking in Uplift, Vision and Breadth of Mind,
So we left them to teach the Gorillas while we followed the March of Mankind.

We moved as the Spirit listed. They never altered their pace,
Being neither cloud nor wind-borne like the Gods of the Market Place,
But they always caught up with our progress, and presently word would come
That a tribe had been wiped off its icefield, or the lights had gone out in Rome.

With the Hopes that our World is built on they were utterly out of touch,
They denied that the Moon was Stilton; they denied she was even Dutch;
They denied that Wishes were Horses; they denied that a Pig had Wings;
So we worshipped the Gods of the Market Who promised these beautiful things.

When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know."

On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life
(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)
Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "The Wages of Sin is Death."

In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all,
By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul;
But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "If you don't work you die."

Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tongued wizards withdrew
And the hearts of the meanest were humbled and began to believe it was true
That All is not Gold that Glitters, and Two and Two make Four
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain it once more.

As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began.
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,
And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire;

And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!

Since my son was a youngster I’ve taught him to wait until marriage before having sex. I’ve given him reminders from time to time: Hands to yourself; Be the kind of guy who can look a girl’s father in the eye and say (truthfully) that you have respected her; avoid pornography because it abuses the victim over and over again and leads to impotency; and if you ever need any help your father and I are here to help, not judge. He knows I’m speaking the truth because he knows that I fell into the traps of the sexual revolution. I’m printing this out and sending it to him.
