As the 13th anniversary of the deadliest attack on American soil approaches, many experts warn of the potential threat posed by terrorist networks including Islamic State, or ISIS.
...
Unarmed & helpless Americans and Europeans will be viciously ambushed when they least expect it, he wrote, and the death toll will be more brutal and widespread than all the peace & love dreamers could ever imagine.
He declared that the somber date of Sept. 11 will be the day of infamy again.
According to Nugents projection, those who already own firearms should ammo up no matter where you go, always carrying 10 spare mags or 10 spare speedloaders to address the threat.
Nugent went on to describe the terrorists he believes are plotting against the U.S. as allapukes who are confident they will once again methodically slaughter walking cowering whining cryin [sic] helpless sitting ducks capable of zero resistance.
For the gullible naive embarrassing ill prepared targets who have yet to embrace his respect for and reliance on firearms, Nugent suggests they get on board.

I bought them a thousand at a time 6-7 years ago. Same with .22 LR. Just tossed a couple bricks in the cart every time I went to Cabelas or such. I remember when Ammoman had Lake City green tip 5.56 ammo for less than $200 a thousand. I was buying it just for the brass. I stopped when the floor joists started creaking.
One used to get a better ROI on reloading. But I got into it so I could tune the load to the gun. And its still a great hobby and a really good skill to have. Think about taking it up.
Best,
L

Did the same with .22LR’s - well the family did - have about four thousand rounds. I have a Gammo Nitro in .22 and it’s a hoot to shoot. I can get all the .22 pellets I want at Wally’s - five hundred rounds for $8 ... thing shoots out at 1200fps.

How will ammo help you if the grid is what is targeted?
If the zombies can’t roll when the gas pumps are down, how would they reach Ted’s gun-toting fans in the first place?

If the zombies cant roll when the gas pumps are down, how would they reach Teds gun-toting fans in the first place? Use your imagination. The zombies certainly will, if the SHTF.

"Best to avoid airports , gun free zones, and other soft targets that the Moslems might attack?"
Yes, along with avoiding any other problems that could be caused by terrorist attacks: road closures, other traffic problems, places where people gather for recreation, public entertainment, etc. It appears from many of their evil deeds of the recent past, that our terrorist enemies enjoy being killjoys, horrifying everyone and generally trying to get as much attention as possible.

Haven't you seen any of the end-of-the-world movies? The bad guys have weapons with infinite ammo, and by the same magic, their tanks are always full of fuel. If the producers need an excuse, the bad guys are super-technical enough to refine their own endless supply of fuel. Just watch for the geniuses who show their naked behinds through the backs of their leather chaps and wear colorfully dyed bird feathers on their heads (Mad Max flicks and the like...*retch*).

Traded a Beretta Tomcat 32 for the Glock. There is a video on the web by a guy who demonstrates the gun and shooting it. He really liked it. We both wanted something she did not have to cock like the Tomcat. Easier on her thumbs which are getting along in age and not strong enough for all that.

My wife had never fired a weapon until we married. Then I took her to the range and she fell in love with center body mass!! I told her just shoot center and keep shooting till he hit the floor. She loves the gun. Tomorrow she gets to shoot till her hand hurts.

Lee Loader is about $30 and all you need to load 1 caliber. Guy on youtube loads a .308 cartridge in 47 secs.

Wondering what the cost+ would be vs manufactured rounds. How long to amortize the equipment ... and powder. Then scales. I think it’d be a fun thing to do provided you can get all the stuff needed. Then too, last time I was at the range this guy had this device that measured velocity.

Folks forget or have not heard it reported that hundreds of surface to air shoulder fired missiles were captured in Libya, Syria and Iraq.
Now in the hands of the homicidal muzzie nuts. Intelligence orgs around the globe are crappin in their pants over this lil ditty.

I figure I got my money back in the first 18 months or so, easy. Of course I had to have a chronograph, digital scale, go, no go gauges, and the like. Not exactly necessary, but real handy to have.
But like I said, I was really more interested in acquiring the skill set than I was in saving money.

My firearms instructor back in 1992 said to always have at least two, preferably three high-capacity magazines for every weapon I owned. During the Obama Administration I increased it to 5 and have more than enough ammo at this point, but 10 magazines w/speedloaders?! Who besides Ted has that kinda money?
