MEMPHIS, TN - (WMC) - A video of a group of teenagers beating a Kroger employee in the store's parking lot is circulating on Facebook.
A Kroger employee tells WMC Action News 5 that the attack happened at the Kroger near Highland Street and Poplar Avenue.
Accroding to police, three people were jumped by a large group of teenagers who were chanting "fam mob." The group, who came from CiCi's Pizza, reportedly attacked a 25-year-old customer as he left his car to enter Kroger. Two employees, ages 17 and 18, were attacked while trying to stop the fight. Both were "struck several times in the head and face, while being knocked to the ground." The victims say large pumpkins were thrown at their heads. They both eventually were knocked unconscious.
The victims were treated on the scene for their injuries. All three refused to be taken to the hospital. The 17-year-old victim's father said his son is OK and is at home.
The Kroger manager told police the store's surveillance video can only be accessed by "loss prevention" on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Police want to know whether anyone else was approached, harassed, or injured by the teenagers. If so, please contact police at the Tillman Station precinct.

Memphis was always a tough town, now it’s down right hideous. Other than Graceland (barely), I can’t think of any other reason to go there. It’s become a toilet. I guess while continuing to vent “rage” the potential victims will find any way they can to get out, as they have been for decades. Another doo doo town.
Fairly common for LP to be the only ones to access the DVRs. Though they normally had a after hours on call person for emergencies.
Watching the video one can be assured that they are our “black brothers”. What happened? Were their EBT cards refused? Was Midnight Basketball cancelled?
So much for that social experiment called diversity. Mostly no thanks to hussien, jesse, al, holder and the rest of them who have done nothing but stir the pot and encourage racial tension. People should leave the inner cities and da hoods to the thugs. Be done with it.

It means the site supervisor does not trust his officers to bring the tapes up. I have two guys that I don’t let play with the cameras. Unless you are a supervisor of people these days you have no idea how bad it is.
Kroger needs to hand that manager his pink slip. No, sir, that video will be turned over to the police immediately. No ifs, ands or buts.
I worked retail. The store manager couldn’t access the LP office. If PD needed video and no store LP officer was around a after hours on-call person at corporate was the only one who had access to release it.
It’s normal for only security to have the password/procedure to review a security recording but to reapply your WTF: Fam Mob?
