Read: Psalm 150
When I asked a friend how his mother was getting along, he told me that dementia had robbed her of the ability to remember a great many names and events from the past. Even so, he added, she can still sit down at the piano and, without sheet music, beautifully play hymns by memory.
Plato and Aristotle wrote about the helping, healing power of music 2,500 years ago. But centuries before that, the biblical record was saturated with song.
From the first mention of Jubal, the father of all those who play the harp and flute (Gen. 4:21), to those who sing the song of Moses, the servant of God and the song of the Lamb (Rev. 15:3), the pages of the Bible resonate with music. The Psalms, often called the Bibles songbook, point us to the love and faithfulness of God. They conclude with an unending call to worship, Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! (Ps. 150:6).
Today we need Gods ministry of music in our hearts as much as any time in history. Whatever each day brings, may the evening find us singing, To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises; for God is my defense, my God of mercy (59:17).

The starring role for the movie, "Fistful Of Dollars" was first offered to James Coburn. He rejected the offer. Clint Eastwood jumped at the chance and became an instant, box-office, successful star. James Coburn later said that it was a mistake not to take the offer but he, nonetheless, had a successful career anyway.
The script for the original "Dirty Harry" movie was written specifically for Frank Sinatra. Because of the shooting schedule the shooting had to begin. At the time of the start of shooting, Frank Sinatra had to decline the part because at the time he had a broken hand which he had suffered in a bar fight in Las Vegas. Again, Clint Eastwood took the part and became a double-box-office success.
The "Fistful Of Dollars" genre became known as "Spaghetti Westerns" because they were produced by Italians but the movies were actually shot in Spain. The dialogue was in Italian but English was dubbed in later. There were many "Spaghetti Westerns" using other actors but none were as popular as the Clint Eastwood variety. Sergio Leone directed "Fistful Of Dollars" and the subsequent 'sequels' which included "For A Few Dollars More" and "The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly". ( Opinion: Eli Wallach should have received an Oscar for his role in "The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly" as 'Tuco'. [ "BLONDIE!" ] ) ;-)
A few years later when Clint Eastwood started his directoral career.....and specifically the movie, "High Plains Drifter", there is a scene in the movie toward the end, ( the cemetery scene ). in which Mr. Eastwood put the names of his previous directors on the 'crosses' of the 'deceased ones' as a 'tribute' to the directors who had guided his career. ( I checked this out. It is true. There are the names of directors on the 'crosses'. 'Sergio Leone' is one of the names. )
Connie: Charlie Cajares - "Cuando Quiero Llorar, No Lloro", ( "When I Want To Cry, I Do Not Cry". ) or Gerardo Rosales - "El Hijo Del Sonero", ( "Son Of The Singer" )
