The Fly Dubai plane was on its way to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates but apparently took off hours later than scheduled, the officials said. By the time it was over Iran, Iranian authorities said the plane’s flight plan was no longer valid and the plane was ordered to land.

It happens. Flight ops at larger airlines usually handles this, don’t know who the contractor on this flight was.
Okay, but consider this. (I always second guess) Iran is trying to support the US against ISIS. We have an Iranian in the administration. What better way to appear 21st Century than to let the jet continue its flight? See, the Iranians and Muslims aren’t all bad??? Just sayin. They should have taken off by now.
America looks weak right now. I doubt we could even send the tip of the spear in, look what happened to Extortion 17 with this Mickey Mouse administration.

As stated above the logistics usually get done at another level. Way too much for a flight crew who have their own problems especially after a long delay, and maybe pushing crew rest limits, weather, and a host of other concerns.
He visited Stonehenge today, has announced he has knocked another item off his bucket list. This is surreal, we have had two Americans beheaded, Ebola is rampant, ISIS is taking over the ME and this guy proudly announces he is working on his “bucket list.”
