According to a new Sunday Times report by Toby Harden, "Pentagon sources said Foley and the others might well have been rescued but Obama, concerned about the ramifications of US troops being killed or captured in Syria, took too long to authorise the mission."
It's claimed that Obama was concerned about his administration being Carterized had the mission failed.

What were they thinking when they discussed that mission after Foley's death? That they looked more caring for having tried and failed? p>Not more caring just NOT Obama's fault! It was the fault of the guys on the mission. He's just such scum!

OMG. He truly, actually has blood on his hands for his own vain, selfish purposes if this is true.
Every president makes decisions that can put Americans in harm’s way. But I believe most do so because they love their country and want the best for its people. This, however, is beyond nauseating.
I really hope, for the sake of his own soul, that this report is not true.

“concerned about his administration being Carterized...
Why? It would be an improvement. “

He’s the Commander In Chief. How can he blame the troops? How does he look any different than Carter—he presided over a failed mission.

Carterized? I'd like to see the wound that this administration represents cauterized.

Obama cannot accept anything that would prove that he is an utter failure. Look ObamCare is a disaster - false numbers to prove what he is just an utter failure. He will strive to always divert attention to something else. Yes Narcissstists will always point to something else that truly shows everything is to be about them.

One more reason to sincerely detest this phony president. He has ZERO leadership skills, which is one among many reasons we refer to him as ZERO.

That’s exactly the situation I thought of. He dithered for days, and the SEALs on-site made the decision to take care of the pirates. I wonder what happened to those SEALs. Were they reprimanded?

Hes the Commander In Chief. How can he blame the troops? It's easy for him. He's used to blaming everybody but himself. Can't figure out how to blame Bush or Fox News or the Koch brothers.
He can do no wrong, doncha know.
