How does a Democrat candidate for the highest office in the state become a nonperson at the "non-partisan" Texas Tribune? When that person's campaign goes into such a freefall that it becomes an embarrassment to even report on it.
Such seems to be the case with the Wendy Davis campaign for governor in Texas. The last time the Texas Tribune directly reported about her was a full week ago on August 15 which not so coincidentally is when the Rick Perry indictment happened. The backlash from that obviously political indictment which is already falling apart as reported by Bryan Preston of PJ Media has become so great that Wendy Davis now acts like a deer caught in the campaign headlights as she appears unable to respond according to this Dallas Morning News Trail Blazers blog:

A sobering moment - her campaign in stanggering, under the reeking Perry indicment that should be scotched.
Somebody post the Rick Perry for President wanted poster. Its just too good. :-)
This is massively backfiring on the Democrats.
I hope it is backfiring, but I will believe on November 4 and not before. So many millions want to like Wendy.
LOL! I have no doubt this CPRIT mess was supposed to be a two-fer against Perry to give Wendy a boost in Texas and give the Rat's ammo for the national stage.
I posted this yesterday, and the excerpt is from an affidavit filed by the Integrity Unit investigator of the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas case.
"At no time in CPRIT investigation was Governor Rick Perry or anyone from the Governor's office a target," Walling wrote in the affidavit dated Aug. 20. "At no time did I ever obtain evidence that suggested any wrongdoing on behalf of Governor Rick Perry or the Governor's office."
I have no doubt it's why the Dems are now squirming like the worms they are.
You’d almost think Perry engineered the whole thing himself.
What is scary is that even in the great state of Texas, even a candidate this bad is still guaranteed no less than one out of ever three votes.
Exactly. People can’t be that stupid... then again, maybe they are that stupid.
Good point. You never know.
Applause. :-)
Oh, I see that “Lehmberger” (because like that famous cheese, she truly stinks) is also a “spitter.” She’s just an all-around mad cow, ain’t she?
Yes! Wasn’t that a winner for brilliance? I want that rendering for our lawn, like NOW!
(And I’m a Cruz girl!)
People in these parts don't mind a political dustup, but when ya cross the line into actual falsehood, then people get their dander up.
What Abortion Barbie has been doing for at least two months now (and probably with Soros funding) is running an ad continuously in all the major markets where it is not mentioned that Greg Abbott in voting against the Kirby lawsuit was actually vindicated when the US Appeals Court struck down the Texas Supreme Court ruling saying that the rape victim had no standing in trying to get the Kirby vacuum company to pay up. It was the distributor's fault, but of course the distributor did not have any deep pockets.
Davis is trying to paint Abbott as a heartless person, but who is more heartless, a Supreme Court justice doing his job or a state senator stumping for the execution of unborn babies?
I want to get Tee’s made out of it for Mr. GG2 and I. :-)
I’m not from Texas, so I don’t get it. Who is that?
What is happening to braindead Obamabot, Low Life, Democrat. Wendy Davis in Texas is exactly what is going to happen to Obamabot Democrats across the entire country. They have been warned that Obama will destroy them...but they will stand behind this POTUS traitor until the bitter end. What’s in store for the Democrat party in November....poliical destruction at the voting booth, thanks to Muslim Brotherhood/ISIS worshiper, Barack Hussein Obama!!!
