Police have not said whether or not Taylor was actually armed, but family members claim he was not.

Unlike the case in Ferguson, this police officer was wearing a body camera. So at least they know what really happened.

But they won't release it to the public. Looks like Obama style transparency at work.

OTOH there are some other differences

In furguson the cops race was declared instantly, Salt lake city its being hidden

IN ferguson the cops name was given, and his home address given to everyone by the media, in SLC the cops name is still hidden.

the ferguson story made national news. barely anyone knows about SLC.

Oh yeah, and in ferguson there have been 10 days of rioting.

IF one listened to Rush as I and Cubfans did, apparently this was mentioned briefly as well but it was all on for only about a minute. Rush did mention the term white Hispanic but I wasn’t listening close enough. On the other hand, Salt Lake City isn’t a place with a whole lot of black people vs. say, Hispanics.

There's only one logical solution after what happened in Ferguson. That would be for only blacks being policemen in towns 75% or more black and only whites being policemen in towns 75% or more white. (sarcasm, of course)
