It turns out that there are some good reasons why the former Governor and GOP Presidential nominee is allowing his name to be circulated as a potential candidate in 2016. Some of those good reasons can be found in a new poll by Zogby Analytics showing him outpolling his nearest rivals for the nomination by about two to one. The poll of 315 likely Republican primary voters was conducted online on August 13-15 and has a margin of sampling error of +/-5.6 percentage points.
Romney places first in the 2016 race for the nomination with 20%, followed by New jersey Governor Chris Christie 12%, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul 11%, Texas Senator Ted Cruz 9%, former Arkansas Governor and Fox News host Mike Huckabee 8%, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush 6%, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker 4%, Florida Senator Marco Rubio 4%, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindahl 3%, New Mexico Governor Suzanna Martinez 1%, South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley 1%, Ohio Governor John Kasich .3%, and Ohio Senator Rob Portman at 0. Three percent selected the Other Candidate category and 17% were not sure.

You want to tell that to JimRob, who, correctly, decided Romney was a better choice than Obama in the last election cycle? Sigh...
Mr. K; you KNOW it is VERY impolite to speak of those and not ping them.
Jim may just want to chime in on...
...the REST of the story!

Romney might be a RINO, but Obama is a racist, incompetent, American hating marxist who is literally putting our country in danger.
So, I suppose I’ll take a RINO until we can get a real conservative elected. Frankly, I’d campaign for Pat Paulson over Hillary - the country is on the line.

But he's not running and most likely he won't run, so it's not really any reflection on "how well he's doing." If anything, it indicates how divided the vote is between the others who actually might run.
Office of First President & Living Prophet®: November 8, 2012
Fellow MORMON Freeper Christians!!
I must apologize and ask for forgiveness from you all.
As you know, we at Headquarters NEVER tell you pew warmers how to vote. It says so right in our press releases. Anyway, we were ALL thrilled to the max when there were two TWO! MORMONs being touted in the primaries: Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman.
Talk in our upper chambers high above SLC was how our gods were favoring us with these men; who had prepared their entire lives for an opportunity to save this Nation; which so badly needs guidance: OUR guidance even! So naturally, I and the other twelve analyzed and discussed the situation.
Consensus was that the voters should listen to the inner urging and vote for the one they wanted; but that seemed to be leaving WAY too much to chance.
I decided, that since I am the ONLY man on earth that can hear GODs voice, that I would pray for wisdom and clarity in the matter.
I hadnt used the fleece in a while, so I questioned GOD with a test. A paper, with Romney on one side and Huntsman on the other was to be placed by the air conditioning vent high above my desk in the sumptuous office the Full Tithers have provided.
When the air would kick in later in the evening, while I was home, the paper would be blown down and whomever GOD wanted would then be visible on the upper surface.
As you can probably guess, when I came in the next day, the paper had landed on my desk, with Mitts name on top.
Last night, I was staying late, praying to GOD about how it was even possible that Mitt lost, when the janitorial cleaning crew came in. Being surprised to find me here, they apologized for interrupting me. I said to them, It mattereth not, as I was about to leave anyway.
As I was going out the door, the foreman of the crew just happened to mention that my office is ALWAYS so neat and tidy, never anything out of place, that they barely have to do anything to clean it up. Then one of the sweepers said, Except that time in the spring when we came in to clean and found a paper with Huntmans name on the floor by your desk. We put it back on your desk and left.
Tommy M.
PS Keep praying that Huntsman will add an H to his name. Jon looks so dang effeminate!
Onward to 2016!!!

He beats Chris Christy, Jeb Bush, & probably value Mitt Romney for his intelligence, ability to accomplish and his moral values.Could you expand a bit on this?

Regardless, it is time conservatives stopped fighting amongst themselves and demanding a perfect candidate and rallied behind a conservative alternative to the Republican establishment candidate. Then, why are defending Romney, the least conservative nominee our party ever put forward? So what conservative are you supporting in the primaries to defeat a RINO like Romney? I don't demand a perfect candidate but I have minimum qualifications for even those who I hold my nose and vote for (McCain in 2008) but Romney is a long ways from those minimums.

Not that I am a Romney supporter, but I am curious. As a conservative, you are OK with living in the United States for six years under President Obama (with 2 more to go), but will move to another country if Romney is nominated?
Strange.

And which Moral values would those be???
Would that be his unending support for the murder of unborn babies (A.K.A. Abortion)?
Or would it be for his unending support for the Abomination that is Homosexuality, to the extent that he single-handedly, without the Legislature of MA, enacted Gay marriage in Massachusetts, in addition, he supports Gay Adoption, Gays in the Military, and Gays in the Boy Scouts.
Couple that with his constant lying, and bearing false witness against his Republican POTUS competitors, and I'm not really sure what you are talking about.
