Standing up against a bunch of people who have very obviously politicized law enforcement would speak well of Rick Perry. Right now NOBODY is willing to stand up against the politicization of law enforcement and the courts - which is largely why we’re in the mess we’re in.
As long as the people who have the ability to call grand juries are sheer political hacks who answer to their political and sugar-daddy puppet-masters, the people be darned and there’s nothing we can do about ANY of the lawlessness we see from the politicians’ friends.
