Attorney General Eric Holder vowed to use Michael Brown's death and the riots in Ferguson, Missouri, to push for more police diversity and even combat unintentional "disparate treatment under the law" of minorities.

"Enforcement priorities and arrest patterns must not lead to disparate treatment under the law, even if such treatment is unintended," he said. "And police forces should reflect the diversity of the communities they serve."

"Constructive dialogue should continue – but it must also be converted into concrete action. And it is painfully clear, in cities and circumstances across our great nation, that more progress, more dialogue, and more action is needed," he wrote.

He also said that the "Justice Department will defend the right of protesters to peacefully demonstrate and for the media to cover a story that must be told."

They still don’t get it. You can’t allow one group to be animals because they’re a different color. Take a look at Chicago or any city with demographics like Ferguson. It’s why these areas become that way. Whites move away!!

Funny, when and where I grew up, the most feared cop in the black center city was a black cop on the beat. I guess that has changed these days then again perhaps not.
I think Holder is saying blacks will be safer with black cops because they would not arrest or defend themselves against “one of their own”.
Idiot. And I am sure they will lower the bar (like they always do) to recruit more blacks. Maybe even overlook criminal backgrounds. They deserve what they get.

Holder wants “more police diversity” so that there are more black cops to monitor the white cops for any sign of “political incorrectness” and keep them in line.

There is nothing wrong with disparate behavior leading to disparate treatment. If disparate behavior based on race is a problem the focus should be on changing the behavior.
Don’t think the federal govt has any say in hiring of local cops.

We’re in the middle of a takeover and those who know what is happening can’t seem to band together and put a complete and permanent stop to it. What a tragedy that millions of others don’t have a clue as to what is actually happening.
When the Police are forced to add diversity or must hire people with criminal records, it allows non qualified individuals to obtain guns and access to authority that corrupts....New Orleans experienced that in 1990s, with two black unqualified individuals as seen in these articles:
