Should there be a limit to the amount of liberty you can lose?

Should there be a limit to number of cars, homes or shoes someone can own?

How about a limit on the amount of food you can own?

I hate imprecise reporting.

Terms like “massive.” Has no meaning.

5 pounds. 100 pounds. 10,000 pounds.

I bet the article eventually refers to an arsenal or bunker or compound.

Next, they will find child porn on his computer, and a tea party membership.

NO!
Should there be a limit on how many cars you can have?

Jeez you can only drive one at a time.

Should there be a limit on how much horsepower your vehicle can have?
How big your house can be?

I know of no limitation on ammunition in New Jersey.

Could be he had a lot of powder, for reloading, and they considered it an explosive.

Of course, once they decide they want you, they will make up the law to suit. We live in a post-legal environment.

There should be a limit on the amount of BS the government dishes out daily. Ammo should have no limits other than what one can afford to purchase or barter.

NJ has already demonstrated that no matter the initial limits set, the fascists will always strive to lower the limit until NONE is allowed.

Physical limit to how much ammunition you can own - your financial resources, then the amount of physical storage in which the arsenal may be placed, that can be relied upon to preserve the product in good order.

If you have to haul it out ten years from now, you want to be reasonably certain it will fire.

What “protocol” was followed? The man was stabbed, yet he is the one punished. She gets charged, yet he is deprived of his liberty. IIFC, he will be charged with a felony and thus ineligible to own guns.

Welcome to Acirema, where the guilty are rewarded and the innocent are punished.

It always amazes me when the media reports that someone had an “arsenal” of ammunition for possessing about the amount I use in a typical afternoon at the shooting range.

Given the price gouging and general lack of availability, it makes sense to have a lot of ammo around. Having less than a year’s supply, at your normal rate of consumption for practice and plinking, is not nearly enough.

There should be a limit on how many rounds of golf and vacations taxpayers have to pay for.
