I hate imprecise reporting.
Terms like “massive.” Has no meaning.
5 pounds. 100 pounds. 10,000 pounds.
I bet the article eventually refers to an arsenal or bunker or compound.
Next, they will find child porn on his computer, and a tea party membership.
Officers with the Bergen County Police Department bomb squad, township police and county sheriffs crime scene unit carried out what appeared to be more than 30 pounds of black gunpowder, the chief said. The canisters were assembled on the front yard and photographed by investigators before being loaded into a pickup truck.
The sheer amount of gunpowder was illegal and could pose a danger to the neighborhood, the chief said. Charges were expected stemming from the quantity of gunpowder.

I read the article that this was linked to.
The guy had 30 lbs of smokeless powder for reloading. That and his guns were locked in 2 gun safes.
The moron Chief of police said it ‘appeared’ to be black powder.
What a liberal fool East coast reporter calls a “massive” amount of gun powder would not get most of we shot shell reloaders through summer trap season. I am almost out of 700X and can’t find more.
