I find it hard to believe that a veteran cop, even in the heat of the moment, would be stupid enough to execute a suspect out in the open with his hands raised. Nowadays, cops know their every move can be recorded on somebody’s iPhone.

Supposedly the dead suspect turned around and charged the cop like a rhino after at first fleeing the area after fracturing the cop’s skull.
I think with a head fracture and some giant guy coming at you he had the right to pull the gun and protect himself.
Six shots is rather little for such an incident, I think officers typically unload the whole clip, not just six rounds.
