The Gateway Pundit can now confirm from two local St. Louis sources that police Officer Darren Wilson suffered facial fractures during his confrontation with deceased 18 year-old Michael Brown. Officer Wilson clearly feared for his life during the incident that led to the shooting death of Brown. This was after Michael Brown and his accomplice Dorian Johnson robbed a local Ferguson convenience store.
Local St. Louis sources said Wilson suffered an orbital blowout fracture to the eye socket. This comes from a source within the District Attorneys office and confirmed by the St. Louis County Police.

I think Brown had his arms crossed over his belly. The cop did go for the mass.
It is anyone’s guess until Wilson speaks to the Grand Jury.
Because the MSM from all over the world have spent a lot of money getting to Ferguson, bringing all their equipment, staying in hotels, food, etc.
They don't want it to be wasted.
They don't want the riots to end.
Supposedly the dead suspect turned around and charged the cop like a rhino after at first fleeing the area after fracturing the cop’s skull.
I think with a head fracture and some giant guy coming at you he had the right to pull the gun and protect himself.
Six shots is rather little for such an incident, I think officers typically unload the whole clip, not just six rounds.
“Mike Brown was afraid”
Afraid of 5-10 for strong arm robbery.
Also, my theory is that he was also a “dead ender”. There was some type of deal reached from a prior arrest if he stayed out of trouble and enrolled in college.
Yep, absolutely no doubt we will hear that as well. “Why didn’t he stay in his patrol car”.
True.
Well, that settles that. No bill.
....IF you can.....
"Running the ladder" is sometimes, tactically, an LDE (last ditch effort) in getting rounds downrange as you clear the holster, hoping to connect before your front site is lined up with your eye and supporting hand. NOTE: practicing one-hand running the ladder is a good way to shoot your leg and supporting hand!
Nope. Ever been smacked in the eye so hard it caused a fractured socket? He was seeing stars! He couldn't see well, at all. This, and Brown's size, explains the multiple shots and the spread wound pattern. This cop was sprayin and prayin. Prayed well, though.
I’m surprised at the notion that ANY police car today, well into the 21st century, is not equipped with a dash cam. If there wasn’t, I expect SOMETHING recorded the incident (police radio logs, nearby surveillance cameras, people with cell phone cameras, etc); if not, the absence thereof does not diminish the testimony of all other related incontrovertible proof (perp robs store, perp assaults clerk, perp walks down street away from victim, cop confronts perp, cop suffers skull fracture, perp terminated with multiple front entry wounds).
Thanks for the ping! I’ll go to the beginning of the thread and read it all now.
Indeed he did.
Brown was never unarmed”””
292 pounds
6’3 or 4” tall
Bad attitude.
Willing to strong arm a business owner much smallere than himself.
Willing to brazenly do robbery knowing cameras are everywhere in today’s world.
“Juvenile Record Sealed” because he just turned 18.
This guy has been a bully all of his life.
This time he lost.
We don’t know that he yelled at them with profanity. He probably did what most cops do and just ordered them off the street. Then it got translated into ebonics and retold.
Yeah, but they have more or less shut up since late yesterday.
Could this be a GAME CHANGER, hmmm???
It’s like with Benghazi-Gate it has to be spanned, denied, swept under the rug/rock!!!
You are preaching to the choir.
I thought the same but who knows who is really calling the shots (pardon the pun) out there.
If this is an accurate tick-tock then that first officer on the scene has the most info about Wilson's injuries if he arrived only 3 minutes after Wilson and Brown's first encounter:
12:01 p.m. Officer Wilson encounters Michael Brown walking on a street and the shooting follows. Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson said Friday that Wilson did not know about the robbery at the convenience store when he encountered Brown.
12:04 p.m. Another officer arrives on the scene after the shooting, and an ambulance is contacted to treat Brown's wounds.
When did the ambulance arrive? Did the same treat Wilson's wounds?
Some of you must be LE or have studied CJ.... If you still have your Street Survival textbook...I’m sure you know I bring it up to mention the guy who took 33 9mm rounds before stopping...there is a coroners photo of him in that book
