The Gateway Pundit can now confirm from two local St. Louis sources that police Officer Darren Wilson suffered facial fractures during his confrontation with deceased 18 year-old Michael Brown. Officer Wilson clearly feared for his life during the incident that led to the shooting death of Brown. This was after Michael Brown and his accomplice Dorian Johnson robbed a local Ferguson convenience store.
Local St. Louis sources said Wilson suffered an orbital blowout fracture to the eye socket. This comes from a source within the District Attorneys office and confirmed by the St. Louis County Police.

.....confirms my first thought which is boy oh boy this guy has to now be super, super careful with every move he makes because this is a MAJOR, not MINOR, injury and he could well lose an eye if he is nor reeeaaalll careful.
Wounded does not translate to stopping.. When u hit a deer, it doesnt just flop over and give up...it runs till it cant...which can be a good while..
“Then it should clearly state it is an example.”
It did. It is captioned “(File photo)” which means it’s a stock image not of the actual event but a meaningful & relevant representation thereof.
Send them to Africa. They’ve ruined a nation.
.....this description of yours and one other suggest that maybe Wilson could not see well or normally and had to fire so many shots because he knew if the gentle giant got hold of him he was toast!
He probably came close to blacking out, and couldn’t see very well...and this monster was grabbing for his gun.
I’d shoot.
Yesterday some comments were made about his poor marksmanship....now we know why.
Has Michael shot a gun with more than one bullet?
Regardless of why, fact is he DID shoot Brown four times in the arm - and that did NOT stop Brown. That, for all practical purposes, addresses the “he shoulda shot him in the arm/leg before resorting to more lethal shot placements” - he did, four times, and was STILL in immediate threat of _further_ grave bodily harm (having already suffered a skull fracture).
Stop the threat or neutralize.
...in other words, shoot to wound or kill...unless you think the sound of the shot will deter the perp...
Many times officers began CPR after shooting individual.
...which of course wouldn’t be necessary if he hadn’t shot to at least wound...
...I know we’re dealing with semantics here...and I don’t doubt your knowledge on the matter, but your word choice was, shall we say, confusing...
Without other corroborating evidence, Movement. Did he chase first then shoot? Was he backing as he shot? Did he begin at car moving forward as he shot. Unless casings are numbered in order. it takes more than evidence markers.
My assumption is once other officers arrive to a scene , any officer involved in a shooting would not be standing around watching the body. He would be removed from the immediate area to:
-Give his statement
-Preserve the scene
IOW, I have doubts the officer standing next to the body is Officer Wilson, fractured orbit or not. Which begs the question when whats her name said Officer Wilson was standing there “looking bewildered” and wondering “what have I done” did anyone attempt to verify the identity of said officer?
Rhetorical question as we all know the answer.
they’ve ruined a few continents..
Glad to hear that.
White folks did gather in Knoxville to support the families of Christopher Newsome and Channon Christian after the two college students (real ones, not “aspiring”) were tortured and murdered by a gang of black thugs, including one female. The media characterized these whites as the “Klan” for doing so.
I was hit in the eye with a baseball when I was in junior high school. The ophthalmologist said that if I had not been wearing glasses with hardened lenses I would have lost the eye.
Yea funny how those posters have disappeared over the last two days.”
I think they have gone back to the DMC and the Obama people for new instructions.
ay Wilson could have taken an earlier headshot...but he just couldn’t do it. He went for the mass.....
