he protests in Ferguson, Missouri, over the police killing of 18-year-old Michael Brown are eliciting predictable glee from Russian media outlets, some of which are making it seem as if a race war is about to break out in America.
An RT article, “Protests Against Police Tyranny have Spread Across the Main Cities of the USA," suggested that the nation is on the brink of chaos as the "rage of Americans ... spreads across the entire country." Sputink i Pogrom, a nationalist newsmagazine, tweeted out, "What do you think? Should Russia grant Obama asylum in Rostov after the Ferguson Maidanites occupy Washington?" And Svobodnaya Pressa, a popular Russian news website, ran an article calling the Ferguson protests “AfroMaidan,” in reference to Euromaidan protests in Kiev, Ukraine, earlier this year.
In that Svobodnaya Pressa article, Sergei Bespalov, the docent of the humanities division of the Russian Academy of Agriculture and State Service, attributes the events in Ferguson in part to the “fact” that white Americans have “prejudice towards African-Americans … in their blood.” Bespalov predicts further unrest, adding that “if [Obamacare] is cancelled, this could … provoke racial conflicts,” and that “a significant part of African-Americans and Latinos could perceive [Obamacare’s cancellation] as a challenge from the white majority.”
It’s hardly surprising that the Russian media jumped on the opportunity to use the events in Ferguson as “proof” of American hypocrisy. But explicitly linking Ferguson to Maidan reveals the Kremlin's deep fear of dissent—the fear that any breakdown in authority will automatically lead to widespread chaos. Look at what happens, these articles imply, when you give the people too much power.
You’re right.
Obama and Holder would love a race war. They’re haters. But Democrats want a race war too... high black turnout is the only way white liberal elites stay in power. And blacks were looking like they were going to sit home for mid-terms.
The protest playing off Ferguson in New York was organized by big money democrats. I don’t have a link - saw it here on FreeRepublic.

When has a majority, (72%), installed a strident member of the minority, (12%), as their leader?
I think brewing is a fair analysis.
They live off government transfer payments from taxes generated by the labor of whites, and they know it. Their so-called leaders are self-aggrandizing, cowardly hucksters who couldn't command a bake sale. A couple of gangs with handguns would be no match for the National Guard if push came to shove.
A race war would be a self-defeating disaster for inner city American blacks.

That’s why Obama’s been purging out the command structure and “homofying” the military (driving out Christians and others with moral principles).

I think within 20 years, they’ll do it again. As long as the black is better than anything culture perpetuates, it’s only a matter of time.
The National Guard would be there to protect them from the real army of “disgruntled” citizens, if it ever got to that point, and there aren’t enough National Guardsmen in the whole country to protect even little Ferguson, Missouri if you were to make the citizenry mad enough. Or am I wrong?

I’m going to risk mixing three issues here because they have a common thread, somewhat ironic considering their backers: they are all products of undemocratic tyranny.
Vet, less than 2% of American men and women will admit to being fartknocking rugmunchers (according to one of their news organs, the WashPost, below), but they’re still doing a pretty good job of achieving their goal that their perverse lifestyle choices, e.g. “felching, “be treated by the remaining 98% of us as normal.
Same goes for the illegal immigrants and socialized medicine lobbies: most Americans don’t want these things, as hammered to our critters at `town hall’ meetings—just before the Democrats rammed the “Affordable Care and Patient Privacy” act down America’s throat.
Now, deductible premiums are skyrocketing and it doesn’t look so affordable ... as Americans objected would happen, while the `patient privacy’ ramifications haven’t begun to be felt yet.
Race? Same thing, but here the Democrats have, as you point out, ten (10%) per cent blind adherence to the “race trumps all” ideology.

So Putin thinks like Charles Manson. Not exactly news.
Then it gets complicated. What do you suggest will be the “different sides” in this yet-to-be-realized conflict?
I think they would regret it.
But Putin has the world’s largest nation-state, equipped with thermonuclear arms and all kinds of oil & natural gas, at his back. Manson was an ex-con who had a rag-tag band of dirty hippies at his beck and call.
Nor sure but there are a lot of Mexican-Americans who would love to grab the southwest or parts of it and try to join it to Mexico. Very regional group to be sure but very possible while the focus is on a national internal conflict.
