Holder Orders DOJ to Do Further Autopsy on Michael Brown
NBC ^ | August 17, 2014 | NBC News

The feds want to perform their own autopsy on Michael Brown, the unarmed teen shot dead by local police in Ferguson, Missouri, a week ago.

"Due to the extraordinary circumstances involved in this case and at the request of the Brown family, Attorney General Holder has instructed Justice Department officials to arrange for an additional autopsy to be performed by a federal medical examiner," Justice Department spokesman Brian Fallon said in statement. "This independent examination will take place as soon as possible. Even after it is complete, Justice Department officials still plan to take the state-performed autopsy into account in the course of their investigation."

Don’t have a link.

It was mentioned the first evening after the shooting, on one of the threads by what seemed a reputable source.

Even if they had them, a dashcam would be pointed forward, not to the side, which is where the incident occurred.

So, at this point we don’t know if they had them, or bought them and hadn’t installed them, or installed them and it wasn’t on, or it was on but pointed forward and could not have captured the incident (unless it was on and had audio).

Correct ?

With DOJ doing its own autopsy the report will be held back until Fed finds that the dead man had only milk and honey in his veins. Holder already has the results. The Federal examiner’s job is to say hmmm hmmm and put those results on paper. No challenge will be permitted.

(Trying to catch up)

I already addressed this, you haven’t read it yet.

I was confidant of that source, however it may be wrong.

Just like the assertion by the MSM and tons of people here on FR that the robbery was at QT.

Took me a day to put together the pieces of the puzzle and verify that it was the Ferguson Market and Liquor Store.

Pretty much.

I prefer to look up budgets and other official documents to verify information rather than take some reporters word, especially when it comes to contentious subjects, like this case or the NDAA (not to thread hijack, but with all the hype about the NDAA I looked up the actual law and it was not at all the threat some made it out to be: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3185704/posts?page=43#43).

Cheers.

Guess Holder didnt like the facts of the 1st autopsy(didnt fit his narrative) so now he’s going for a 2nd hoping that he can pay off Baden enough to say what he wants him to say

OK. I went back and found my 'source'. I hope you find it 'acceptable', it's only a local news staff and the Chief of Police in Ferguson.

No dashcams in Ferguson: One less tool in Michael Brown shooting investigation

Dashboard cam videos like this one have often played a role in documenting interactions between law enforcement and citizens. When those interactions go terribly wrong, as was the case in the shooting death of Ferguson, Missouri, teenager Michael Brown, it seems logical to ask: Where is the video?

There is none, Ferguson's police chief said.

Thomas Jackson says his department has 18 patrol cars. This spring, the department purchased two dashboard cameras and two wearable body cameras, but the equipment hasn't been installed because the department doesn't have the money to cover that cost, he said.

Thanks. Can’t find it in the docs so I wonder how they were budgeted and procured.

After following this case, day and night (last night until 2:30am), the consensus (most likely truth) is that The officer didn't know when he first passed Mike, but that the announcement had come of the radio giving a description, and after Mike and friend yelled "NO" (in response to being told to get off the street) and he started backing up his mind 'clicked' as he realized this was one of the alleged perps.

This was based on the recount by a friend of the officer who relayed the story to a radio call-in show which VERIFIED that the caller was who he claimed to be.

Modern lynch mob forming for that cop. There is no way he can get a fair report from this federal government.

If you go back to that link you supplied (Ferguson, MO-Official Website) and put in the search term “car cameras” it shows up at the top of the list.

It’s at this url

http://www.fergusoncity.com/documentcenter/view/1068

Show Cameras for Police cars on page 16 under POLICE.

50+ years ago, the people who were upset and demonstrating didn’t trust the local law enforcement. Same lack of trust applies.

Which is why blacks tend to favor the Federal Government over state and local.

It is the number one reason the Federal Leviathan has grown into what it is today.
