After following this case, day and night (last night until 2:30am), the consensus (most likely truth) is that The officer didn't know when he first passed Mike, but that the announcement had come of the radio giving a description, and after Mike and friend yelled "NO" (in response to being told to get off the street) and he started backing up his mind 'clicked' as he realized this was one of the alleged perps.

This was based on the recount by a friend of the officer who relayed the story to a radio call-in show which VERIFIED that the caller was who he claimed to be.

BTW, the media tends to confuse the public.

The Chief said that Officer Wilson was not on a call about the robbery and wasn’t on his way to arrest Mike.

This is true. It was a different officer who took that call and went to the Ferguson Market and Liquor Store, then proceeded to QT as the victim told the cop the perps went “that way toward the QT “.

Officer Wilson (I hope I’m getting his name correct) did (according to various sources) HEAR the call on the radio but didn’t know at the moment he passed by Mike and his friend that they were the alleged perps.

All of this happened in a matter of seconds, which is what most don’t realize.
