Ferguson police released the name of the officer that fatally shot 18-year-old Michael Brown, while also revealing that Brown was a suspect in a convenience story robbery over a $48.99 box of cigars.
Ok...misunderstood this....from the police report...
At 12:01 p.m,... Wilson encountered Michael Brown, who was walking toward Quik-Trip. That’s when Wilson shot Brown.
I hope this is finally a lesson learned. The race-baiters who jump to conclusions, and that includes Obama, should just SHUT UP except for advocating calm. The police should not have military equipment mighty enough to behave as an agressor nation. And the black community should start looking at itself and figure out that it’s not okay to look the other way when thugs make their neighborhoods unliveable.
I’m waiting for Sharpton to lead No Justice No Peace, we be smokin’ Swisher Sweets.
And....news at 11. Let’s see how the leftist media handles this bit of info. Can they spin it into another Travon?
Re your pix narrative. Brown (the black poor unarmed “teenager” killed like Treyvon Martin during an attempt to seize a gun from a law officer) is this huge person grasping this tiny store clerk by the throat and tossing him against a display case as he heads out the door with stolen goods.
No,
But the looters didn’t know that. I’m sure some had heard he had robbed a “Convenience store” before he was shot and since he was shot by the QT figured that was the one.
Sounds like Brown not only assaulted the store clerk but also Officer Wilson who had to be treated for injuries after the shooting. Not surprising as Brown felt he could walk into the store, take whatever he wanted and then assault the much smaller clerk if he had the audacity to try and stop him. He may have turned and started running after he attacked Wilson when he saw the officer had drawn his gun.
This is sounding a lot different than the narrative about jaywalking that was first given by Brown’s accomplice (Johnson I think is his name).
bumperpingeroo.
Where’s the outrage at the black on black violence. That’s right, there never is any.....because so many of ‘their life experiences’ are full of drama and entitlement issues.
The kid was stealing....so he’s right away a thief. He roughed up the store owner...so that’s assault....apparently he fought with the arresting officer ...so that’s assault. If he indeed go for the officers gun then he likely knew how to handle one.
Not a picture of a first time offense individual.
If reports are accurate that the cop was treated for facial injuries, I’m not ruling out the possibility that he was (a) stunned from being pounded on by Brown, and (b) not seeing clearly because of his facial injuries (blood, swelling, etc.), so he may not have been able to see clearly what Brown was doing when he fired the shots, but simply perceived that he was near and possibly intent on doing him more harm.
...”This is sounding a lot different than the narrative about jaywalking that was first given by Browns accomplice (Johnson I think is his name)”....
Not once in a situation like this have I known ‘the guilty’ individuals to tell it as happened. Never. Brown’s friend was simply covering Brown until he realized his own skin was on the line.
Why didn’t the police release all this info in the beginning?
Normalcy bias.
I am ready to roll at a moment's notice.
From your link...”Details are slowly emerging which indicate Brown and his pal Dorian Johnson initiated a confrontation with a police officer responding to a call. Brown severely beat the officer and caught a round as a result. When he charged the badly beaten officer a second time, he caught a few more.”
I understand photos of the officers face lacerations etc. will be eventually released.
It happens.
Note that... Obama spoke out on behalf of Brown and his family but did not release a statement offering sympathy to the police officer who was allegedly attacked or to the business owners whose stores were burned and looted.
