What could possibly go wrong?
Stupider and stupider and stupider.
Oh, nothing illegal about that. Is everyone a retard in California?
So the totally democrat city wants to use money to incentivize voters to vote for more democrats why? That is so stupid it’s funny.
Excuse me. I’m going to go pound my head against the wall until I start seeing the pretty birdies.
Or how about free beer or booze in exchange for a vote?
Alcohol and/or Tobacco is the staple. If it was good enough for our forefathers...
I have a better idea. How about a tax credit coupon handed out with every ballot?
Sick, sick bass turds. Give away more freebies to get the freeloaders to vote. No wonder our government is so !@#$%! up and out of control. Handing out freebies is not the way the government is supposed to work! Damn communists!
Mostly just the politicians.
This is beyond stupid. A prize will not motivate lazy people to study the issues, only to go into the booth and vote ignorantly. It’s bad enough as it is!
Ethics? WE dont need no stinking ethics.
How is this plan ethical?
If people dont care enough about their government to vote without incentives like prizes perhaps they shouldnt be voting anyway.
I have always been of the opinion that you shouldnt have to pay people to do the right thing. But maybe that is why I am a conservative and these people are Liberals.
Undermines the essence of American democracy and I think could be found to be un-Constitutional with a little study.
Does Sheila Jackson Lee have any of those THC laced lollipops still available in her giant $4500. purse?
Illegal is this not? Electioneering even by government bribe is still a crime.
