Insufficient IRS explanations cause Judge to order sworn answers from IRS about Lois Lerners hard drive and emails.
Judicial Watch has sued over missing IRS emails in the federal district court in D.C., pursuant to its FOIA request for such documents.
The IRS was ordered to provide explanations as to missing emails, particularly Lois Lerner.
The IRS provided explanations, but those were not good enough for the Judge, who launched his own inquiry into the matter, as Judicial Watch explained in a statement posted on its website:
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton made the following statement in response to todays order from Judge Emmet G. Sullivan regarding the recently lost emails of Lois Lerner and other IRS officials, which were the subject of longstanding Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and lawsuit (Judicial Watch v. IRS (No. 1:13-cv-1559)):
In an extraordinary step, U. S. District Court Judge Emmett Sullivan has launched an independent inquiry into the issue of the missing emails associated with former IRS official Lois Lerner.
Previously, Judge Sullivan ordered the IRS to produce sworn declarations about the IRS email issue by August 11. Todays order confirms Judicial Watchs read of this weeks IRS filings that treated as a joke Judge Sullivans order.
Judge Sullivan, in his earlier ruling, appointed Magistrate Judge John M. Facciola to manage and assist in discussions between Judicial Watch and the IRS about how to obtain any missing records from other sources. Magistrate Facciola is an expert in e-discovery, and authorized Judicial Watch to submit a request for limited discovery into the missing IRS records after September 10.

.............I place blame for 2012 enabling nobama to continue cleaning out the Treasury and the Constitution, squarely upon the folks that DID NOT VOTE AGAINST nobama more so than the dumbass dem sheeple who voted for him. I agree in total.

Let me make it more clear.
The judge can order an inquiry.
Inquiry may take place.
But even if the inquiry exposes crimes, who is going to
prosecute the criminals?
Correct, not the judge. Judge has no cops or FBI at his disposal to arrest and prosecute. Only the DOJ has that.
Without prosecution, everything is meaningless. Holder
will never prosecute anyone who could turn on Obummer.
That includes Lois Lerner.
Next time, please vote AGAINST likes of Obummer even if the GOP nominee is not your choice.

Whenever I posted that thought during last election, lot of
negative comments came my way. Those people were consumed
with hate of the GOP nominee. For myself, GOP nominee in 2012
was my last choice, but still a better choice over Obummer.
I think we are now vindicated in spades.

Primaries have consequences. Those who foisted the sure loser on us will try the same thing again. And will lose again in the general if they get him (or another loser just like him) nominated.
Live and learn.

It will likely happen again if Bush or Christie are nominated. Hopefully establishment ‘pubbies are not slow learners.

The choice of Romney or Obama is sort of like the choice between eating dirt and eating cyanide. But, still, Romney would win if the election was held today, and he’d have won in 2012 if not for:
The 47% comment. (It was true, but way too easily twisted & used against him.)
He tried to play it safe in 2nd & esp. the 3rd debate.
The biggie: A failed get out the vote effort / organization.

If our very liberty depends on electoral outcomes, do we actually live in a free, constitutionally defined republic?
