An Army veteran joined a Marine cohort in confronting a Checkers restaurant for flying the American flag upside down. The vets say it’s the second time in three months that the eatery has improperly displayed Old Glory.
The video was taken and posted on Facebook by John Zulu of Lakeland, Fl and according to Zulu:
I just had to deal with checkers disrespecting the American flag for the second time. Please share this video everywhere. The employee even says, “I’m Mexican, I don’t even believe in the American flag.”

Minimum wage employees put up the flag because they’re told to, not because they believe in it. And they probably aren’t paying much attention.
He doesn’t believe in the American flag!? See how emboldened these sobs are? So working at Checkers is a down grade from some of those awesome positions available in Mexico?
I think someone should personally assist that employee back to Mexico even if he is an American citizen.
My guess is they didn’t do it on purpose. They just don’t know or care. Which is kind of worse in my book.

I did time in fastfood, the flag went up goofy a lot (admittedly our had 3 clips, because I think they used to also hang the state flag, that added many opportunities to do it wrong), and was almost never folded properly, and would get left out overnight because the closers forgot about. Minimum wage employees are not generally known for their conscientious effort.

I drove by this Checkers twice yesterday. If I had seen this earlier, I would have stopped in and asked for a comment card.

I can understand flying the flag upside down because the country is indeed in distress because of the idiot in the White House. Apparently this was not the reason.

Anyone eating at a restaurant where the owner claims to hate America means he hates Americans and you just ate a Booger Buger and Pee Lemonade.
