The BEST era ever! :)
: )
With the choices available ...
No Rock or Metal Groups on the lists. Hurumpf.
So what did you land on ,then? : )
(50s is about right, by the way. :D )
Evening, folks. If the 60s technically extended into the early 70s, then, yep, I am a 60s person (though I was a kid then).
I hate most of the stuff that’s out now.
The ‘70s started off quite well, but ended up having a lot of very angry music...due, I’m sure, to the Vietnam War.
Oh Wow..Spyro Gyra! Haven’t heard about tem in a long time. They were very good!
I have always loved the Stones...still do.
You have some great stories! :-)
TT hasn’t called in as of yet. I may be booked solid if they do though.
He has probably lost interest.
((HUGS))Good morning, Kathy. How's it going?

You Are in Your Musical 60s |
For you, there is little better than a talented singer-songwriter. And you always listen to the lyrics for every song. You are open to today's music as long as it comes from a genuine place. You don't like mass marketed music. You believe that every artist needs a strong voice. Generic music doesn't appeal to you at all! |

According to survey, I am in my “musical 50’s”.
Sidebar: I had never even heard of most of the multiple choice answers. Who the heck are these people/groups? I rule this quiz null and void....no country, no bluegrass, no blues choices etc!!
No doubt about that! Got good taste.
Or did it not have enough options?
I mean, I think short of the grunting of cavemen, you would have one of the oldest musical tastes.
Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Luvy, for preparing
the Canteen for todays activities.
Sneaking in for a quick hello
and catch up on pings,
and to play, of course.

Your taste in music may be mainstream at this point in your life, but that's a good thing. You can make a playlist that everyone loves. You tend to stick with artists you know these days, but if you find a new artist that you do like, you know it right away. Your favorite music is creative, moody, and subtle. You don't need a song to overwhelm you in order to appreciate it. |
I guess I can't be too upset because at least it says,

Well, I am feeling so disorganized.
I had to relocate to a temp office while work is being done
and it is causing my organized brain a bit of trouble.
I'm praying I will be back in my office by the end of the week (please Lord).
Gonna make my rounds while it's still quiet.
Please stay right where you are.
Keep the troops and their families entertained.
The Canteen is
Come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

“Also Spracht Zarathustra” hahaha!
Daddy and i used to take that record with us to Stereo Stores to test the speakers!
When 2001 Space Odyssey came out, I sang along with the opening scene! hehehe
(I was SUCH a brat!)
Morning Beachie! A little out of your comfort zone, huh? No news on the job front to report, still looking. We have rain rolling in, much cooler than the 90’s we’ve had. OK, hope you have a cool day.
Good morning, Beach
Good morning Kathy
My taste in music crystallized about 25 years ago when my sons were born. That’s when I stopped being “cool,” if I ever was. Kids will do that, you know. So I still listen to Zeppelin, The Who, Pink Floyd, all the music I grew up with.
But last year I gave my oldest son an iPod and told him to put a playlist on it of music he thought I would like, but it had to be more recent. He did, and I now enjoy some Alice in Chains, Nirvanah, Soundgarden, Black Keys and Blind Melon.
Maybe there’s hope for me yet.
