Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Luvy, for preparing
the Canteen for todays activities.
Sneaking in for a quick hello
and catch up on pings,
and to play, of course.
You are in Your Musical 50s |
Your taste in music may be mainstream at this point in your life, but that's a good thing. You can make a playlist that everyone loves. You tend to stick with artists you know these days, but if you find a new artist that you do like, you know it right away. Your favorite music is creative, moody, and subtle. You don't need a song to overwhelm you in order to appreciate it. |
I guess I can't be too upset because at least it says,
"You tend to stick with artists you know these days,
but if you find a new artist that you do like, you know it right away.
Your favorite music is creative, moody, and subtle.
You don't need a song to overwhelm you in order to appreciate it."
Well, I am feeling so disorganized.
I had to relocate to a temp office while work is being done
and it is causing my organized brain a bit of trouble.
I'm praying I will be back in my office by the end of the week (please Lord).
Gonna make my rounds while it's still quiet.
Please stay right where you are.
Keep the troops and their families entertained.
The Canteen is
Come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

((HUGS))Good morning, Beach. How’s it going?
Morning Beachie! A little out of your comfort zone, huh? No news on the job front to report, still looking. We have rain rolling in, much cooler than the 90’s we’ve had. OK, hope you have a cool day.
Good morning, Beach
Good morning Kathy
My taste in music crystallized about 25 years ago when my sons were born. That’s when I stopped being “cool,” if I ever was. Kids will do that, you know. So I still listen to Zeppelin, The Who, Pink Floyd, all the music I grew up with.
But last year I gave my oldest son an iPod and told him to put a playlist on it of music he thought I would like, but it had to be more recent. He did, and I now enjoy some Alice in Chains, Nirvanah, Soundgarden, Black Keys and Blind Melon.
Maybe there’s hope for me yet.
