Just damn.
Just. Damn.
I grew up with Robin’s hilarity. Another voice from youth stilled. And 63 is too young these days.
At least HE wasn’t refusing to entertain the troops. That scored points in my books.
RIP, and thank you for the fun, Robin. I am saddened your demons caught you.
Lost our 33 year old nephew to suicide several years ago. Not drugs or alcohol, just an inability to deal with life’s trials. Of suicide, he once said that it was his “constant companion.” Shocked me to my inner core, broke my heart.
Mark Levin just talked about this.
I gave him a pass on his politics for the most part....he did go on tours with the USO for the troops.
Same here. I remember him from the Mork days.
I liked him in “August Rush” - played a part like Fagin ...
Horrible liberal, good actor. When he was off script he was just another loud-mouth liberal who couldn't think straight. Having said that, I thought he was great at dramatic roles in August Rush, Bicentennial Man, and What Dreams May Come.
You got it. These are sadly very dark and difficult times we live in.

That's very possible. There just isn't any good interpretation of what happened, I'm sorry to say.
LOL Good one... At which time the doctor said, “You’re ......
Watching this on FNC.
Suicide? Whoa!
Jesus Christ: You cant impeach Him and He aint going to resign.
Very sad. RIP Mr Williams, you brought many laughs.
Unless he was sick, right?
That is good to hear that he supported those in the military. If Sinise says it there can be no doubt.
Off topic, but I heard John Oliver interviewed on NPR (where else!) and his wife was actually a medic in Iraq. Saw Fallujah and really some of the worst of it. He spoke very respectfully about her and her service.
I think his show is good, but of course I have my issues with his knee jerk liberalism, but he got some pretty big points from me that day and I was glad I heard the interview.
Condolences to his family. Other than that, Miteybad shall say nothing in association with this sad affair.
If we shut ourselves out of all liberal entertainers, we'd be left with Debbie Boone and Chuck Norris.
I only "boycott" the outspoken louts like Sean Penn etc.
I've never been suicidal. I'm of the "this too will pass" philosophy. But if I were comtemplating it I think I would be afraid to do it.
Correlation does not imply causation.
More people who are depressed commit suicide than those who are not.
Also, more people who are dressed will be on anti-depressants than those who are not depressed.
I think the root cause for most suicides of the depressed is the fact they have depression, not what anti-depressants they are taken that might have failed to cure them. In many cases, some medicines only temper the symptoms, and that is all medical science can currently do for them. Cures are another matter completely.
Bicentennial Man was a very interesting movie.
The analogies were plentiful. He’s deserves credit for a very good performance in that movie. It’s in my collection and I watch it from time to time.
