I wonder if the last thing he said was “Gasp, Gasp, gurgle”.
(Play on a joke he told about his grandfather’s last words).
Just sad....
I have to respectfully disagree. When I was going through a horrible depression my shrink would encourage me to go to mass like it was an AA meeting. Perhaps it was a tool she used because it held a place in my family history...a foundation that was familiar.
Others mileage might vary, of course.
Depression—real dark depression, is not cured by a pat on the back and a “buck up” speech.
I am so grateful for my family and wife who helped me from that hole.
That abyss can be alluring if you listen to it.
One thing that is sad but is true, drugs can drive outrageously good talent.
Robin Williams was never funnier than when he was in the middle of his cocaine addiction.
Though he remained quite funny after he quit his "muse" ("Cocaine is God's little way of telling you you make too much money") the cocaine fueled rants were unbelievable.
Great Talent and Nuts, a true Comedic Combo.
I wonder if he was allowed to own any Firearms.
Yeah, but you’re not bipolar. I believe he also suffered from adhd.

“I pray he cried out to the Lord before it was too late.”
The Lord I believe in would have welcomed him home, anyway. Jesus loves us, even if we stray.
An angry man in spite of all the laughter - caught up with him finally - RIP.....
>> “He and Jonathan Winters” <<
.
Jonathan Winters is a Christian, and a conservative, so he cannot be grouped with Williams who was neither.
.
If you ever listen to Winters off stage, he is a fabulous guy.
Yup. Here's a clip from when his USO show was interrupted by the bugle playing "Retreat" when the flag was lowered.
I am crying now but it is for his grieving family, the death, if it is suicide, is all too painful. Please use this to make every effort to help those tempted by that vicious death, its Impact on the family is devastating in generating guilt.
I'm sure the two of them are sharing the Tonight Show bill tonight, entertaining Johnny and the audience.
Don’t forget Anita Bryant.

That was harsh.
Pray for his family.
Pray for the protection of the innocents being slaughtered in Iraq.
Pray for the babies being slaughtered in America, ripped from their mother's wombs...pray for the mothers to repent.
Pray for our leaders to turn their hearts to God.
Pray for our churches to repent--the people in the pews and the people in the pulpits!
This high profile death ought to remind us all of the brevity of life and drive us to acknowledge our desperate need of God.
Sounds like hanging to me. Not at all uncommon in suicides.
It would be imaginative.
Those that commit suicide do have a ticket to hell.
One must endure to the end to have a shot at Yehova’s rest. That is what his son told us in Matthew 24.
That is an interesting mental image... as soon as they die they walk through a curtain and are on stage with johnny Carson, bright lights and can’t see any audience....
