Roberts isn’t bad. I don’t think I’ve ever disagreed with his votes. He has just been in DC too long. If that is the only problem, I can live with it.

Four candidate field? Who were the other two? Were they spoilers to siphon off conservative votes?

I guess Kansas does not have a 50% rule?

It is tough to knock off an incumbent, but I think the tea party bench is getting deeper.

WTH good are primaries for if the incumbents always seem to win. Conclusion—most voters are idiots and at best uninformed.

All that matters at the end of the game is the score.

He’ll win re-election easily in November, though; more than four times as many voters turned out in the GOP primary than in the Democrats’ competitive Senate primary.

Don't count your chickens. In the first place, the Democrat primary wasn't all that competative. Kansas has closed primaries and the number of registered Democrats who turn out for primaries isn't that great. Second, people who voted for Wolf really, really, really don't like Roberts. There is no reason to believe that all of them will get in line and vote in November. Third, it's a three way race with a registered independent, Greg Orman. He could siphon off a lot of the independents disgusted with both parties and the Johnson County RINOs who don't care for Roberts hard right turn.

I was for Roberts in this particular election. Wolf needs to run for some position in 2016, establish a track record on political positions, then run for the Senate seat in 2020. I do think you are going to see a very conservative Jerry Moran for the next 2 years.

Roberts secures a minority of Republican votes.

Roberts LOSES a majority of Republican votes.

What a disgrace. GOPe.

The “tea party” candidate, Wolf appears to be anti-gun — he posted some x-rays of gunshot wounds on this facebook page with “humorous” commentary. This is fact.

Just because someone declares themselves “tea party” candidate, doesn’t mean they are “real” conservatives.

“Roberts defeated Wolf, 48 percent to 41 percent;”

This is NOT a “narrow” win.

The emerging slate of wounded, limping RINO candidates does not fill me with hope for November.
