Four candidate field? Who were the other two? Were they spoilers to siphon off conservative votes?

It is tough to knock off an incumbent, but I think the tea party bench is getting deeper.
Hard to tell. Alvin Zahnter was a libertarian running as a Republican. And DJ Smith? Nobody knew what the hell she was running for. But between then they took 12% of the vote that could conceivably gone to Wolf.
Were they plants? Probably not. Roberts got into this figuring he'd win by 50 points. I don't see his campaign seen the need for plants to take votes away from Wolf. No it was just to people who decided to run.
