Glenn Greenwald wants to make this perfectly clear: He finds Megyn Kellys views viscerally repellent.
But the crusading privacy journalist has plenty of complimentary things to say about how the Fox prime-time host conducts herself on air.
She has a lower tolerance for being fed incoherent tripe from her own side than the average cable news TV host, Greenwald said in an email. Most Fox and MSNBC hosts treat even
Recognition has come from viewers she often comes in a close second to ratings king Bill OReilly and from the press, too. Kelly, 43, was the only woman in media to be included in Time magazines 100 most influential people list this year.
Watch just a few of Kellys faceoffs and its not hard to figure out she was a lawyer before becoming a television journalist.
Shes a very good questioner, and you can tell shes an attorney, Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), a former federal prosecutor who is now leading the House inquiry into Benghazi, said in an interview. I think you always bolster your credibility when you show objectivity and when you are an equal opportunity questioner
No one is your client, youre not protecting anyone. Obviously, when youre attractive, you can get away with things that ugly people like me cant get away with.
When Bill O’ Ego comes on I turn to Fox Business and watch Cavuto. He is a good guy with a great show.
I tape OR and can usually watch what Im interested in in a about 7-10 minutes. I like Bernie Goldberg when he gets to talk.
A few days later, Kelly played Liz Cheney's reaction to a TV interviewer who brought up Kelly's "hard" question, and Liz made a great point:
It is the job of a good journalist to ask hard questions.
And--after watching her show almost every time it's on, I think she is a very good journalist--and NOT afraid to ask ANYONE hard questions.
I like Bernie, too. But OR is unwatchable. And it’s true, he never let’s anybody talk!
RINO.... affirmative action success story...
No dice. You responded to Baynative, who posted once in post #7 with a picture accompanied by the comment: "Author Glenn Greenwald and his 'boyfriend'."
TO THAT, you posted in post #18: "Summary execution for sodomy was once upon a time the law of this planet."
Your post is nothing less than the ADVOCATION and SUPPORT of summary execution for homosexual behavior. Thre is simply no other reason for you to post what you posted - and that too is extremely obvious. For all your talk of nuance, your post was meant NOT to be nuanced - and it wasn't.
And now you squirm like a worm on a hook, and suggest I take an English class because your call for holocaust was "nuanced"?
I suggest YOU go to CONFESSION, and ask Christ to remove the darkness in you that craves mass murder.
As well as the cowardice that tries to hide your call for blood behind "nuance."
You two get a room and quit high jacking this thread.
Spot on. Sodomites are just another facet of Satan. Why would anyone ask a homo their opinion on anything conservative?
Several major belief systems advocate the same. What's your point?
You don't need a priest to intercede for you. You can actually pray to Jesus and He will hear you.
I believe what he was saying that it’s just recent that homosexuals are overtly out without concern of disapproval when at one time they were executed.
I don’t believe any FReeper wants mass execution of any group, but I do know a lot of FReepers disapprove of homosexuals.
HAHAHA!!!
Agreed!
I love watching her! When she starts going after someone my favorite thing that I yell at the screen is “GET EM MEGYN!!!”
She seems very competent. I don’t watch that kind of show very often, though.
My point is not something you would even remotely understand. Because obviously, if "several major belief systems advocate" the mass murder of homosexuals, then there is certainly nothing objectional to it - right? Especially amongst American conservatives discussing the proper role of government under the Constitution - right?
Thanks for clearing things up with that reality check. After all, the acceptability of the mass murder of homosexuals was settled by Sharia law and the Nazis long ago. I just must have gotten lost in the nuance of the issue.
Of course, I've always heard that women* are better conversationalists.
100 pounds of cute helps.
