HOUSTON, Texas--As unaccompanied minors continue to illegally cross the Texas-Mexico border, President Obama's Health and Human Services (HHS) has been quietly releasing them onto U.S. soil. A total of 30,340 unaccompanied minors have already been released from federal custody and placed into foster homes, according to HHS' Office of Refugee and Resettlement (ORR). While many migrants have been released in border states like Texas and California, others have been set free in Alaska.
Federal data shows that as of July 7, five unaccompanied minors were released in Alaska.

Ugh...Bonjour.
Agreed but it is just the point they will be given everything.
They will freeze solid at the first cold snap
Crab bait?
It would be over two years from now before they could see a PF dividend.
They aren’t going anywhere...
ahaha I deserved that one’
the alaskans need help mowing thier lawns and picking their crops evidently....
It always bewilders me how people like this just, typically, stay where they are put. No frikking way you'd plunk me down in the middle of Alaska and I'd be sticking around. I'd walk to warmer terrain if I had to. (:
It's like the Katrina "victims" (of themselves) that they relocated here in AZ. Really? Ya got nothing here, no ties, no reason to be here, it's as different from Louisiana as you can imagine AND, AND it's routinely over 105 degrees. They just stick around. No gumption. No control over their own lives...Weird.
I cant imagine their arrival in Alaska....
It explained how they basically came straight from the jungles in this area. So, while they are very used to heat --they have zero idea about the dangers and terrain of desert heat. So, they show up, unprepared, and with a couple of jugs of water. Then they meet the dry, barren desert.
I am sure they don't have much of an idea just how cold some of these places they are being sent will be. But, like the Somalis in Maine and Sweden--they adjust. Stay where put, where the welfare checks keep coming, I guess.
“where ess my Obama Monies Main??”....
I havent seen more than a couple OTM....gardeners here in DECADES
Ya know, I had a kid when I taught in Palmer, his dad was an illegal alien from Mexico; came north in late 70s, worked up the slope. His dad married local White girl, started his own company, did quite well; as much a Republican as you or I, no joke.
Now I know many of them aliens are just a burden to our society, but me also wonders if many might turn out to be assets. Don't most already have relatives here?
When we lived in the Valley, I had this Polish neighbor; hated most everybody unless they were Polish. His daughter started seeing this Mexican Guy from Anch, Polish neighbor went ballistic. Finally after a year or so of family fights, the Mexican showed up and told my Polish neighbor he wanted to marry his daughter, but not without my Polish Neighbors approval. Said without Ole Bob's OK, he'd stop seeing the daughter; out of respect. Said how it was done in Mexico. My Polish Neighbor had a complete turn around; how it was also done in Poland. They are still married and had a bunch of kids too. TRue story. Caribou are about to start migrating, Elliot is supposed to come up for moose on the river this fall.
I am sure they don’t have much of an idea just how cold some of these places they are being sent will be. But, like the Somalis in Maine and Sweden—they adjust. Stay where put, where the welfare checks keep coming, I guess.

the Somalis are in Maine because the welfare-industrial complex of Maine scouted them out and offered them a better deal. They were in some other state.
Mexkimo’s taking over the tundra?
We just came off a vacation in Florida. Crazy daughter wanted a beach vacation for graduations, in July.
We should have been in Alaska. First time I ever sunburned my scalp...
Sure sounds like it doesn't it? Sounds like they don't get a choice of destination either......Alaska?
Just wait till this kid from Guatamala experiences his first winter.........in Alaska of all places.
"Hey Jose', how did you end up in Alaska?"
"I don't know, some gringo asked me if I liked Klondike Bars and I said si!"
It is hot down there. We usually go in early October when the sun is a bit less but the ocean still warm.
