After conservative icon and talk radio host Rush Limbaugh blasted House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) for declaring that impeaching Obama was off the table, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin praised Limbaugh for understanding the importance of not emboldening Obama to act even more lawlessly.
"Rush is right," she wrote in a Wednesday Facebook post. "The GOP wants to take impeachment off the table? When will you learn liberals won't hate you less if you play nice in these tumultuous times? No matter how polite, complacent, and complicit you are, Obama will continue to harm our Republic and make you impotent. Even today, his very un-presidential speech mocked you for always being a' 'hatin'. Your apathy is their power."
On his Wednesday radio show, Limbaugh criticized House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) for announcing to the world that Republicans would not impeach Obama.

She also has little to lose. As Milton Friedman used to say, it’s easier to stick to your principles outside the political arena where you don’t have to negotiate and compromise with the other side to accomplish things.
That’s a big reason for Reagan’s greatness - he was a master negotiator who understood the non-negotiable basic fundamental values and the lesser important negotiable things. He also understood that in order to get 100% of what he wanted, he would negotiate for 70% and, knowing that he’d get great results from the 70%, would later probably get the other 30%.
Outside of office, you don’t have to work so hard at this stuff. But Sarah’s role is important and I love her. It’s just hard to compare the dynamics of her role with that of Boehner. I don’ know that much about Boehner, but one strike against him for me is he is a figurehead for the GOPe which I despise.
I heard Rush yesterday completely deny that he has ever called for the impeachment of Obama. He says the media just keep saying that he has.
At the federal level, Article II of the United States Constitution (Section 4) states that "The President, Vice President, and all civil Officers of the United States shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors." The House of Representatives has the sole power of impeaching, while the United States Senate has the sole power to try all impeachments...IOW, the Demwit-controlled Senate won't go along with it, and (as partisan shills at CNN state) impeachment is just political theater -- for now. The House brings the charges, the Senate says forget it, and that helps in November, how?
I recognize this from 2011.
Same ones that assured us in 2011?
Even if there was a tidal wave of republican voters, what makes us think they will be counted?
Means nothing unless we control senate
Most GOP have no balls reallly anyhow.....
The shooting will not commence, the reason I know it won't is because it hasn't happened already.
itsahoot--you hit the nail on the head.
In 2012, and perhaps maybe even in 2008,we may never know--but I am convinced there was electronic vote-flipping to beat the band, in order to keep the Commies in power.
