The conversation between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Barack Obama was tense and tough, according to a report on Channel 1 Tuesday evening.
Based on a transcript of the conversation, obtained by Israel’s channel 1, Obama “behaved in a rude, condescending and hostile manner,” the network’s foreign correspondent concluded.
During the 35-minute conversation on Sunday, the president reportedly demanded that Israel should immediately and unconditionally end the operation.
When Netanyahu asked what Israel would get in return for unilaterally ending the strikes, Obama replied: “I believe Hamas will stop firing rockets – quiet in return for quiet.” To which Netanyahu responded that Hamas has already violated 5 cease-fires and is committed to the destruction of Israel.
“I repeat and expect Israel to stop all of its actions against Hamas in Gaza,” Obama said. He added that despite Netanyahu’s objections the United States trusts Qatar and Turkey’s mediation. “Israel is not in a situation that it can choose its mediators,” the president told his Israeli counterpart.
Netanyahu in response: “Hamas will continue firing rockets on Israel and use their tunnels to attack our people.”
At this point, Obama interrupted the Israeli leader, stating, “the ball is in Israel’s court, and it must end all military activities.”
Netanyahu should agree to a Cease fire as long as the Palestinians actually Cease fire.
But condition it on the the grounds of Obama’s very public Guarantee, and if he can get a Garrett from any other Global leader he should.
Let Obama once again get caught in his own naive stupidity, when Hamas predictably breaches the agreement not less than a day later.
Netanyahu should extract what ever he can from the world on that bet. If Obama actually believes his nonsense Netanyahu shouldn’t have much trouble getting all the money and aid he wants.
The United States could not win a war against Israel.
If we someday were on the wrong side of Armageddon, would the Israeli’s let us fight for them?
Would you betray Americans, your brothers in arms. If you were there? Would you kill every soldier in your platoon if you KNEW beyond a shadow of a doubt that you were walking to Armageddon against Israel? Could you do it?

Oval office interior, 20 minutes later: A man rushes in saying to Obama “The Israeli’s have just nuked Gaza.”
Obama’s ‘diplomatic’ skills on display. No wonder the world is falling apart. He doesn’t even listen to the other-guy much less try to convene him of anything.

The coin would have to be worth a lot for me to bring it to the bank and have it changed into something more palatable.

However, I do have a family and I couldn’t just throw away good, hard-earned money because I can’t stand the person on the face of the coin.

I fear that he does understand, and that he will.
That is the most accurate summation of what is going on right now of all comments I have seen for months. The problem is, it is NOT Obama calling the shots. You HAVE to get at the people behind the scenes who put him up for candidacy and who support him (wealthy people behind the scenes). Getting Obama solves NOTHING.
I once asked a co-worker, who is Jewish; her mother is an American Jewish woman (her dad, a Canadian). I said, “Why don’t American Jews support Israel? Why do they vote Democrat?”

Trying to understand why some Jews turn their backs on brothers and sisters whose only “sin” is wishing for a homeland is like trying to understand the color brown.
I take that as a threat from zero to Netenyahu.
