Anyone who has ever wondered what happened to that strange-looking, banjo-playing kid from “Deliverance” should check out Rep. Louie Gohmert. Imagine that kid all grown up and you’ll have the spitting image of the Texas Republican.
Like banjo boy, Gohmert is weirdly mesmerizing. What swamp did he wander out of and how in the world did he get elected to the United States House of Representatives? The scary answer: There are thousands of people just like him in Texas's 1st Congressional District.
It is time, he says, to “use whatever means,” including troops and ships of war, to stop an invasion that he compares to the D-day invasion of Normandy. The invaders? All those children who made their way from Central America, stepped across the border and put themselves in the hands of federal authorities.
They think they live in country where the president is a terrorist-coddling, Kenya-born socialist who wants to take their guns, close their churches, turn their kids into pagan homosexuals and open the borders to a horde of brown-skinned marauders who will all become loyal Democratic Party voters.
If things are really that bad, maybe it’s time for them to follow Mitt Romney’s advice and self-deport.
In the central coast California town I live in it’s the Notenos and Surenos shooting each other. White conservatives don’t have anything to do with it.

I’m on that same page. It’s disturbing that the American People don’t know such a basic detail about the occupant of the Oval Office, and not enough people care to do anything about it.
I know it’s the LA Slimes. But what purpose did this talking point-ridden juvenile prattle serve? A 14 year old could write better.
Besides the obvious and Ostrich head-in-the-sand ignoral of a lot of these so-called ‘children’ criminals of MS-13 age, he blithely ridicules and discounts legitimate concerns about the complete lack of medical screening of these “children”.
Soon, in neighborhood schools near you, your children will be sitting next to South Americans who can’t speak English, who have lice, scabies, potential drug resistant tuberculosis, whooping cough and who knows what else. We are about to be provably shown what evil this President has wrought. A Pandemic and a huge drain on a healthcare system that can’t even log in, assign and bill new customers.

Gohmert gave a long, night time speech to an empty House of Representatives.
I sat and watched almost the whole speech.
It was quite extraordinary.
It was a simple, logical political interpretation of recent events as reported by the MSM.
Gohmert’s take down of Obama’s Middle East policy, and specifically Obama’s anti-Israel policy, was the best I have ever heard.
That title is full of stereotyping, pigeon holing cheap shots directed at conservatives.
A simple Bible or cross around the neck brings out the Theophobia in liberals.
Once again I’d like to ask leftists that if a no rules immigration policy is such a great idea then why is no other country trying it? I’m talking about those countries that those on the left are constantly telling us that they do everything better than America. When are they going to start completely open immigration to their countries? I haven’t heard of one country even close to doing what our leftists are proposing.
They aren’t immigrants. It’s the breaking of the law over and over that conservatives don’t like.
