Hmmm...No “Mercy”, no “wellness”...
Prayers up!
Title just changed to 1 dead.
Prayers up BUMP.
Curious how you never read about multiple people being shot at a gun range or a gun store. I wonder why that is?
PA ping
I know exactly where that is. It’s not the most affluent area. Friday night is usually a busy night for gun shot victims and bar brawlers.
Sad - that hospital saved my sister’s life forty years ago after a bad motorcycle accident.....
From 1975-1979 my mom traveled there from Syracuse, N.Y. for cancer treatments. I visited her often. On “day” not night, I watched as young “men” jacked up a car to get the wheels off a car that was in the parking lot. I couldn’t believe what I saw. I can’t imagine what that area is like today.
One of the local Philadelphia news programs is reporting that the suspect opened fire, and was then wounded when an employee who was armed returned fire. The suspect is in critical condition.
hospitals are notorious gun free zones. you may have fighting skills they can’t disarm from you but most can’t win against a gun too far away to grab.
i’ve read where people have shot others and suicided n the gun ranges. youtube has video of mom who did that to her son.
it does happen. thieves and thugs don’t usually assault a gun store while it’s open, yes. usually they try to do it late night or very early morning.
Thanks, that’s some good news.
If that was the case 35 years ago it must be out of control now.
Heck, I’ve lived in major cities and not seen the likes of what I have in this small community here in Western PA.
I remember the first time a police car took down a gal in a car in front of my apartment! I was shocked to see it happening on my doorstep! And I don’t live in that type of area.....but it’s all over the pace anymore.
Last summer a car chase, which began miles away, ended up on the side street here where I actually heard the police yell out to the guy..”put your hands up and get out of the car!”....chilling hardly says my reaction. I wanted to run somewhere! Learned later it was a hit and run.
I don’t think anymore there are too many “safe” areas as we once enjoyed....and certainly the police have their hands tied even if you would call them!
yeah. Well, except for Chris Kyle,
According to channel 6, the shooting took place in the psychiatric unit, and it was a psychiatrist who pulled the gun and returned fire - wonder what Freud would have said......
Who knows how many other casualties there would have been if no one in that office had a gun.
