What's more, economist Ben Casselman of Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight states, "For the 49th time in 50 months, more jobseekers gave up looking than found work."

Funny, I just closed a business, laying off 3 workers in the process, due to non-profitability from overburdening (and expensive) regulations, and every government agency and its cronies having their hands in my pocket for one thing or another. My employees made more $$$ than I did, and I worked 6.5 days a week for this endeavor. Guess JoeyB, the vice-presidential wonderkid didn't count those...

I think there should be mandatory drug tests for Biden.... Ditto for Pelosi and Obama

Only a full time idiot would think that the hiring of part time jobs at a historic rate is something to cheer about. Stand up Joe!

Ask those brainy FReeper trolls why my grocery bill has gone from ~ $100
to ~ $240 for the same foods and sundries we have been buying for years.
I spewed my coffee when I saw “low food prices...”
I’d just love to know why I’m paying so much more than they are.

I was given this same spew by a couple FReepers on another thread just last night. The swore that everything was just fine. Unprecedented job growth, low food prices, that life was just getting better and better! They declared that: we are on the cusp of a long boom.
I saw that. I was hoping it was sarcasm, but I was wrong. The big lie is effective, whether we agree or not. This is one method the occupation is using to shore up their base.
