Folks that would like to weigh in on the issue can use:
https://www.popvox.com/home
Type in the bill #hr 5093 at the top of the page and weigh in. They (popvox) is very effective and I get responses from at least one of my senators and my congressmen when I use popvox.

Sounds like my idea for an AR 15 Youth Model is dead.

sure will the other amendments fall under the same guidelines? Given our public schools, I suspect they already are.

The kids can kiss little toy guns goodbye. Even those little pieces of plastic that come with the action figures. The Nazis have come to down! It’s Barbie and “openly gay” Ken or nothing!

I’ve wondered about making an AR15 scaled down to .22LR size.

Prognosis 1% chance of being enacted I'd call that optimistic.

The American Rifleman had an article about a year ago about all of the various manufacturers' offerings of AR 15 look alike (and in some cases function alike) guns. Wish I had kept the article.
I believe in at least one or two cases the lower was interchangeable with a standard AR 15.
If you were looking for an AR 15 for a kid to shoot, get one with a collapsible stock, or put one on the gun you already own. They can be shortened up nicely.

Just buy a .22 upper, it will fit a .223 lower just fine.

I guess children are not protected by the constitution.
First they want to take away a child’s right to life through abortion and now they want to deprive children of the right to defend themselves.

Y’all are missing my point: literally scaling an AR15 down to 44.5%, not just adapting a rifle twice as big as appropriate for .22LR.

Yall are missing my point: literally scaling an AR15 down to 44.5% That would not be prudent - Short Barrel Rifle under the National Firearms Act.

Play stayshun III? Inanimate objects are the problem. Watching hours and hours of mayhem and destruction surely can’t/doesn’t affect impressionable young minds now does it? Actually it isn’t the xbox or psIII so much as the “games” that are offered.
