Sure, Rick Perry isn’t a “gilded tongued devil” but regardless as to how he talks....he speaks the truth and actually follows up on it. I was for him the last presidential cycle but the people thought he was a “HICK” due to the way he talked. He may not have spoken like a polished liar but he certainly had the clarity of thought of a masterful and true patriot and leader.
Since King Obama has been in office, name a single thing that he has done to protect our way of life and laws as written. You can’t! As a matter of fact, name anyone has actually “laid it all on the table” and physically done ANYTHING of substance? Crickets..........

I can’t answer that question. My guess is there is a procedure of notification, etc
that has to be followed. Two types of call outs Title 32 and Title 10. I’m assuming it
will be under Title 32 which isn’t Federal call out.
..The Governor can activate National Guard personnel to “State Active Duty” in
response to natural or man-made disasters or Homeland Defense missions. State
Active Duty is based on State statute and policy as well as State funds. Soldiers and
Airmen remain under the command and control of the Governor. The federal Posse
Comitatus Act (PCA) does not apply under state active duty status or Title 32 status...

Thanks; I read it as only allowing “State Active Duty” without Federal approval. Both Title 10 and Title 32 required SECDEF or Presidential approval as I read it.

As a Texan, I can give you many examples of how the Mexican hoard is getting more bold and brazen by the day. I applaud the guv for this act, but it is about 10-20 years too late.
He sends the TX NG to the border, they then hand them over to ICE, or whatever alphabet agency, and they cut them loose by seeding the entire country with them.
Funny stuff....If given the task, ya couldn’t make this stuff up. It’s Mad magazine material.
It’s like Perry pretending to be some big pro-secure borders guy, while he shows up at racist pro-illegal alien organizations to give speeches and lend them credence.
