ATLANTA, July 18 (UPI)--Tim McGraw "swatted" a fan at his July 13 concert in Atlanta.
A video of the incident surfaced this week that appears to capture the 47-year-old singer smacking a woman in the face.
The footage shows McGraw as he performs his song "Truck Yeah" amid a sea of fans and touches hands with people in the audience. He gives the fan in question a smack after she attempts to get his attention and grabs onto his jeans when she is rebuffed.

Tough yeah. /s
There are crazy fans out there and a performer can never be to sure when one of them might be dangerous. I can’t blame him a bit for doing what he did.
It’s also something he doesn’t want to encourage. 10,000 enthusiastic fans not under control is not a good thing.
Time to go all ‘Dixie Chicks’ on his @ss?
i agree. looky no touchy. do that to a female performer there’d be no problem with the performer’s response, and security’d have gotten involved too.
Either way, it’s going to look terrible for him.
“I don’t blame him I bit....”
Speaks volumes....of an asinine mentality.
I haven’t listened to todays country for years, well I have but I can’t take it for more than a minute or two, it comes across to me as Disney pop combined with extreme posing. Either it’s George Jones singing “The bottle let me down” or I don’t listen. It’s got to be on that level. None of this Taylor Swift sh*t with the CMA trying to give it credibility.
Give me a break with this freakin fraud and his cut off tee shirts and borderline homo body, just what I was talking about. Poser crap. “Oh I wear a cowboy hat and I have muscles so therefore I am a legit country singer” Get lost moron. D-bag.
Look at this effin guy with his perfectly worn and cut at the knees jeans. Oh gee dude you are just like so working class, WHAT a d*ck!

I was by the stage when Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum touched our hands. I would never ever grab any one on stage though. A few weeks later, when I was at the Tim Mcgraw concert, I saw a lot of ladies running their hands over his legs. At one point McGraw saw a man being pushy with a female and he threatened to throw the guy out. I did enjoy his show though.
I was never a big country music guy and I’m too old for concerts now. This Faster Horses concert festival appears to be growing at Michigan International Speedway.

As long as they’re spending money in the area, I’ll stay out of their way
Fans of real country don’t listen to his brand of pop masquerading as country. We turn on RFD and watch Marty Stuart.
Ought to be arrested, Tim I mean
Exactly right about McGraw. I wonder if Faith Hill is just a beard.
I got it in for this guy big time because when I was a kid growing up in New york city I was on a little league team that went to Shea stadium and his father “Tug McGraw” gave us the finger when we asked for his autograph. Out of the blue he walks over to us and stuck up his middle finger asking us “Do you know what this means?” so no surprise at all his son turns out to be just as much of a d-weed.
He didn’t want his already ratty jeans torn? At least dress like you have a tad of class.
THAT is country! Goddamn I LOVE that song and George Strait!! He’s Hank William reincarnated.
Hank WILLIAMS I meant!! LOL!
Not at all.
Fans should not be getting that close to a performer, unless they have permission and its under controlled conditions, like back stage.
Some performers have been stabbed by crazy fans.
