Talk radio host Glenn Beck criticized Fox News and Breitbart for their reporting of his plan to visit the border to bring food, soccer balls, and teddy bears to illegal immigrants on the southern border.

I thought it was uncouth to do a good deed and demand that the media make a big deal out of your contributions. Not a show of humility at all.
My take is if Beck is so concerned about the kids at the border, where they will be taken care of without any question, whether he and Ted Cruz go or not, why the hell isn't he chartering planes and going down to el Salvador and the other central American countries where the real jeopardy for these kids exists?
If he wants to man up then do so-- forget the photo ops!!
It's easy to go to the border and spread a few teddy bears,beach balls, money and food around and they go back to plush studios in Texas!!
It's a whole other thing to go to the source of the problem in Central America and fight the really good fight.
Beware the man who publicizes his charitable acts, for he is interested in helping himself as he is in helping others.
Maybe Glenn should send the Teddy Bears, Soccer Balls, and other goodies to their homelands to await their return. Sort of like a Christmas when they return. Of course, a lot of those “15 - 30 year old children” might want to have some tats or body piercings instead of Teddy Bears or Soccer Balls.

matter of fact the day I heard you say you were anguishing over asking listeners for money to buy soccer balls and teddy bears was the last day I tuned into you, don’t plan on tuning in again anytime soon either.
Beck is a drama queen.
If Beck is so sincere and so Libertarian why doesn't he just go to Central America where he can fin loads of kids who will undoubtedly not be taken care of. The kids he is helping in S. Texas will get help no matter if he does it or not.
If he is so sincere go to Central America where the needs truly are.
Otherwise GTH off the stage and stop posing for the expletive deleted cameras.
