Texas Sen. Ted Cruz confirmed Thursday that he will be joining Glenn Beck and Mercury One at the border in McAllen, Texas, on Saturday to feed, clothe, and provide toys for illegal immigrant children.
Catherine Frazier, a spokeswoman for the senator, told TheBlaze in an email: “Tens of thousands of children are being smuggled into the United States by dangerous drug cartels and transnational gangs – it is heartless to allow that to continue.”
“But while we work to reverse the policies that have caused this tragedy, it is important we recognize the human element of this crisis, and Sen. Cruz is glad to join Glenn Beck and Mercury One in that effort to provide some relief from the suffering this administration is causing,” Frazier continued.

CB...the US won’t let these people starve. For one thing, almost $80B in grants to both Catholic Charities and BCFS have been given...since 2010 to plan for this invasion. Housing has been set up for them long ago.
Second, since these illegals suddenly and *unexpectedly* started coming in, only a very small minority of those under age 12 are without parents. In fact, the majority are actually males, between the ages of 16 - 23. The second largest number coming over are actually family units.
I find it odd that our government is keeping these *children* hidden and that flights/transporation within the US are being done in the dark of night. Why is that? If we’re (US) is truly providing for children, wouldn’t there be pics posted on every news outlet?
I’d prefer to see humanitarian efforts put forth that would not just help these people, but help US citizens, as well. I’d prefer to see aid and refugee camps set up with GB’s, and other’s, charity in Mexico, Honduras and/or Guatelmala.

I agree about the biological. We are in a state of g-war.
The first rule of g-war is to turn tears to ice and anger to steel.
All that said, there may be a day in the near future where Cruz will be called a RINO on this board. I have seen signs when he has been on liberal Sunday shows that he tries to get along, which is when the transformation from being conservative hero to RINO seems to happen.
Among at least a segment of this board, there is no one who does not eventually fall out of favor. Has happened time and time again. If Cruz decides to run, he will drift. Same for Rand Paul. Same for ANY current favored politician and I would include Sarah Palin in that group if she decided to run someday (which I hope never happens). Certain conservatives will decide the have to stay home to "send a message" that no one ever gets, with the hope that things will get so bad that surely America will come around and boot these fiberal phlegmocrats out of office. And we'll be stuck with the Hildebeast or far worse, Elizabeth Warren for the subsequent 8 years. Not a winning strategy, but many would have us follow this strategy to prove a point that most will never grasp.
I never trusted Cruz. He seems like a two-faced used car salesman to me, and he is playing us.

Come up with a viable plan to deport them all and I'll hop on your side. Cruz is a realist who wants to shut down the border, deport the fresh gaggles of illegals and insure they don't get citizenship, and a bit more if you care to listen to his whole doctrine.

You don't have to deport them all. They'll do that for you.
1. No government benefits, ever.
NO education for the "children".
Imprison those who hire them...20 years for every count. Liquidate all their accumulated assets and assign the proceeds to the US Treasury.
Demand proof of citizenship or Green Card at the ER. If they don't have it, deport after emergency treatment.
Demand proof of citizenship with EVERY LEO encounter. If it's not there, deport.
